he says its got the complience plate onit.

its the identification plate i think thats missing (if thats what its even called) or im wrong and pictured the complience plate.

i need another import :) lol

thats the complience plate mate, all it is, is a purple or green sticker stating the importer of the car and the vin no. im presuming all 33's must have one, unless like in chads case regency run out....

Wonder what's the exact go with my 32.....when I went through Regency last week they pointed out that the VIN number on the compliance plate is completely different to the VIN number on the chassis.

Regency staff said it was listed as 'stolen but recovered' and they had restamped a new VIN on the strut tower when it was recovered. It all checked out legit and is registered with the restamped VIN........ :D Anyone heard of that happening before? Seemed weird to me but they passed it ok!

I think you'll find it was complied complied under the old system, where a totally separate VIN was assigned to the vehicle when it arrived in Australia - since SEVS was introduced, they now add extra digits to the existing chassis number.
