Skid pan EC Sat 27th March 04

Dave from moto concepts has asked for my to try and organise another skid pan Day on Sat 27th March. After the 20 + no shows at the last day the following format will be tried.

Both pans again, the large skid pan and the figure 8, we will have 2 instructors.

Early morning, one person on a pan at a time so you can get confidence in your car and the track. After this double shoot outs with chase time on the figure 8.

You will get heaps of pan time and do around a tank of juice. There will be little wear on your car as you dont get much over 80km/hr, and your tyres will skid most of the day do wear will be nothing over the day.

The cost

35 Cars on the day, $75 deposit needed for non members $50 for members

$150 per car 35 names max,

$50 per additional driver,

$10 per passenger (Wrist bands to be used to ensure on driving

I will need a $75 deposit for non members and $50 for members

Deposits are transferable to other drivers if you cant make it, the focus is on ensuring numbers not to take your money.

I will assume 5 drop outs on the day so 30 people for the day will be comfortable.

Yeah date is really a bugger... if another Saturday I'll be in... but not that one... to much to organise for the next days Show and Shine... which will have real racing cars at it!

I think there is one on the 7th Feb, but It is too close to organise. I will chat to dave and see if he is thinking of another day.

He's probably running a bike day on the track that day, that'd be why he's keen on the skidpan getting used at the same time.

Guys: just a reminder. There's an election on the 27th march and you have to vote IN YOUR ELECTORATE (there are no absent-t votes...). If you won't be in your electorate that day, ring your council and get a postal vote application sent out.

Just thought i'd better remind you when i saw the date.

COUNCIL elections mate... tht's just the way they are... it's basically to save A LOT of time for eletoral emplyees... saves a lot of excess work, excess counting and excess preperation...

I work for the electoral office and i can tell you, you have no idea how much extra work there'd be if it where any other way....
