Got the car on the Hub-Pack Dyno today..

Makes 214.7kw on 14psi. Peak power at 5500rpm, and 370nm of torque.

After being told 170kw would be almost impossible, the un-tuned run of 205kw quickly put those laughs to rest!

winner!

I'm liking those figures, especially at just 14psi. Gotta love the older cars, they can bag us out for not having all the technology, but at the end of the day they're still damn good cars. Just fighting the urge now to buy an R31, especially when I need to get another car next fortnight. Gotta say, looking at yours makes it hard to resist, but I need a tow car unfortunately.

Got the car back today from Garage 7, and im extremely happy. Although Decs couldn't get it on the dyno today because of a small issue with another car at the dyno place, it should be done Monday.

I got the AU falcon coilpack setup done, aswell as a Bosch 040 fuel pump.

Decs has been fiddling with the ignition and fuel maps, and explained and showed me on the laptop, what it is doing, which im happy with..any excuse to get to know what my car is doing! There is no hesitation before the turbo hits boost like there was, and it just seems to run alot smoother than it did.

Bring on Monday's dyno time! Im not exactly too sure on what to expect power wise. I've been told 190kw, others 170kw..so i really am not too sure. Guess it depends what the injectors and AFM like.

I always thought you could only do the AU coilpack mod on a silvertop

Cheers guys.

Nah au falcon coilpacks setup can be done on either.

Had a Lara Bingle with a yaris a month or so ago, so it looked like this.

DERP!

So after i took it to Tonsley Crash, she came out like this, note the new grille, new 32 gtr intercooler, and deleted air vent in front bumper.

This is the latest from Skyline Nationals 2010.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
