Hey all,

Long time viewer, first time poster!

Just wondering if there's any Stag drivers in Melbourne able to help me out?

I'm looking at importing a S2 RS260 although my biggest concern is actually fitting in it!

I'm 6'7" and sometimes find it hard to get comfortable while driving some cars.

Does anyone know how big you can be? Or would be willing to let me sit in theres?

Haha i know its a weird request, but help would be great, cos I dont wanna import then not fit in it

welome mate

with the 260's, they are exactly the same as a normal s2 (just with a 3rd pedal) i'm just over 6 foot but i've got stupidly long legs (my legs are the same length as a mate who is 6"7' and i fit in my s2 (rs4s, which has a 3rd pedal too) fine, i actually have to have the seat forward a few clicks unlike most cars where i just drop the seat all the way back

the only think you may struggle with is head room but you should be fine unless you get one with a sunroof, they look awesome but cut headroom down heaps

overall they are real comfortable cars for big ppl (unless there are ppl behind you)

best bet tho would be to go to an import dealer and sit in a stag, even if its auto and not a 260

also, local 260's are really cheap atm cos its hard to sell atm, could could pick up a bargain like i did

oh so the sunroof version has less headroom ??

its okay then cos you cant get a 260RS factory with sunrooves.. (unless its a 260RS in a S2 shell)

i personally liked sunrooves so i had to settle for a S2 RS4S.

Thanks for the info guys.

Locally there's no Stagea's for private sales and all import dealers are useless at getting back to me so far!

The only 260's i could find on carsales etc were $25k+

I've only just recently become addicted to these cars and now i want one..

I'll try and find a dealer and go test it out.

Thanks for the advice!

The first thing you'll need to do is purchase a set of Low bride seat rails, get the drivers seat low and as far back as possible

Im 201cm tall, auto tho as my knees are too rooted for manuals. Used to hit the sunroof over bumps with my original seat rails custom extended by a few inches

now with the bride Low rail it sits further back and lower, albeit with a Saas D1-drift seat. Much comfier than the stock RS4 seats.

Id suggest with the 260RS drivers seat just to try the aftermarket rail, you should be fine with that. Just then dont expect even a kiddie to sit behind you.

Awesome car for a talley. Best of luck. BTW I got my stag 5yrs ago, flew to brisbane to sit in it and hand over the $

nissan sunroofs in my experiance cut headroom down a lot so if your going for the 260 then you will be fine

its an awesome car and fits 5 comfortably if the gf drives, otherwise the ppl in the back seat complain a bit but the rear seats recline which helps a bit

i seriously doubt you will have a problem tho

whats a common car that you fit into?

Tangles is f**kING HUGE and drives an S1 stagea.... PM him and ask how tall he is he'd be taller than 6'7 lol

haha we're the same height...

Believe it or not, the VW rails are too long for my legs and my legs are way more than half my body length... WRX are nice and leg-roomy too.

Usually as long as I crank the seat all the way back, I make myself fit.

However I struggle in AUDI's and Honda's.

I had a 3-series BMW but the seat was too crampy and the sciatic nerve in my clutch leg would get pinched and my leg would go dead after a while.. SCARY whilst driving

I am 6"5 have an 260RS and live in Melb, never had any issues with the seating position, my short ass wife complains about how she can't raise the seat enough... then again she never really drives it. I have driven to the snow with 2 biggish dudes in the back to and yeah i was a bit uncomfy but not totally cramped. You'll be fine mate

well i guess im as good as sold on the idea now!!

time to find me an importer... spoken to a few, very slow to get back to me though

Hi and welcome. Carizma in Richmond had both a RS4S (Manual) and a 260RS for sale in their showroom a few months ago when i went there. I notice that they are both not on their website anymore.....possibly sold.

Have a talk to them as they can import direct and comply for you and also running a SAU special of $550 for their import fee.

Failing that try J-spec Imports...I imported my Stagea through them and can recommend them.

Also given the Golden Week in Japan recently (public holidays), you may find that the importers are trying to catch up with queries...
