I put some of those Philips vision plus 50% more light bulbs in last night, they seem a bit better.. (not as good as a HID setup tho :D )

~$40 from autobarn - they didn't have osram - who has osram locally?

I need some of the sidelights now - what type/where can i get those from?

Hehe, not as good as a HID setup, but also less expensive!

If you're thinking of tracking down the Osrams, don't bother, they'll be almost exactly the same, as the Auto Express review said.

I don't know what type sidelights are used in a Skyline, does it say in your car's manual? Is there anything wrong with the way your sidelights look now?

Except that LG Electronics does not make light bulbs.

Further searching reveals that the MegaLight name is usually associated with Tungsram, which is a General Electric owned company in Hungary.

Yeah on the Box it has the little GE logo, I got given 2 set of these from my bro in law who works at a place that imports all kinds of electronic stuff, including bulbs, here in brissie.

Anyway, I'd never seen these before ever, but DAMN they are bright, had them in 3 months now, very happy, I'd rather have that slightly bluish tinge just for the reasons of I reckon blue lights up everything better plus less glare on oncoming drivers, I always wave to cars that have these to thank them for having them, less glare on my eyes = good :D

I dunno how much they cost, but they are friggin bright, as mindflux knows :D but I can PM out the contact details for the company my bro in law works for and you can contact them yourselfs if you are interested.

Prolly no where near as good as all that HID stuff as they are just bulbs and fit into the standard R33 that I have, but WOW, I never seen bulbs that were that bright before :)

ferni you really should have spent extra and bought the crystal visions. at the same time ask for the AAA LED park lights with the spread beams in white. if you need part numbers let me know but thats the setup i did and far better than the vision plus stuff. the park lights (side lights) are just real common push on globes.

btw how did the group buy go. if you are interested in HID stuff try american ebay they are cheap, they also have the piaa globes cheap too.

The group buy never went ahead

And yes American ebay was the place where we were going to do the group buy..through one of the suppliers on their..

For every 10 bought he was going to knock $5 to $10US of each pack

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
