Steve,

Top Result :D

Guys,

I made the change from a NISMO 80mm performance system to a HKS Ti Drag System, and managed to dyno the before and after. I was running the stock turbine, and the results can be seen over on the www.gtr.co.uk forums.

Some details of the exhaust system here

and the dyno graphs are here

Well I just got my car back from being rebuilt and it seems louder and more throaty than before (even though it shouldnt, its probably because I havent driven it for a long time :D ) We did a before and after dyno when I fitted just the cat back section of my N1 and I gained in the region on 18kw@wheels all up this was the first mod I did and I'm sure all the mods after have gained more for it :( Just hope I dont get pulled over cause then I will have to put a resonator on the system.

the apex dual n1 it theebest exhast for guaranteed Performance there was even a dyno graph produced by apex to back this up . but they are really really loud.

my sr followed the advice of this thread I ahve a 3 split dump 3" mandrel front pipe hiflow 3" cat to a hybrid hap based exhasut I get boost pressure from 2100 rpm full boost from 3200 and on the dyno chart from the factory they reckoned full boost from 4100 rpm. bizzare but I love it . thanks for the tips steve the advice was followed .

Here you go boys;

"The N1 Duel are designed to retain the same peak HP of the single N-1 while improving mid range torque.N-1 Dual Mufflers are a variant of the popular single-tip N-1 Series Mufflers. The N-1 Dual piping splits into two smaller diameter pipes just after the catalytic converter and flow into a pair of 120mm canisters. The canisters are polished off with aggressive 90mm tips. The use of smaller piping diameter helps retain more mid-range torque. The Dual N-1 does not sacrifice peak horsepower because the dual pipes can handle more exhaust gas volume. Piping is treated with high-temperature titanium particle coating, and the canisters and tips are constructed of polished SUS 304 stainless steel."

Im gona be getting this done

yeah, the general knowledge is pretty much 3" pipe the whole way back with as little other restrictions such as cats in the way. i have an 83 car now so i can have just 3" all the way back and then muffler. i had stock dump and front pipe and stock old little cat in there, got the dump and front made 3' and the cat removed, picked up a bit more top end a bit of response, havent dynoed it after it though for any hard proof of difference.

13.58 is correct with pfc base maps @ 12psi, Not bad a!. Considering i had my 2 12'' subs in the car as well. :)

should be a very low 13 this weekend :aroused:

WLD747 dude your best time in your sig is 13.58 right, but arent you running PowerFC base maps ?

dude, not bad, thats ****ING BAD!!! you idiot your gunna kill your car, STOP DRIVING ON THE FARKEN POWERFC BASE MAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 they are made for seeing that the car starts n idles, NOT FOR DRIVING ON AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RELAX, DJ_L3ThAL Its gona go for a dyno tune this weekend. :D Then i should pull a good 1/4 mile. :) . I just havent had any free time cause of work and this weekend i will. :)

    • Yeah good luck out there! Will be good to see a mighty GTST going harder than the GTRs
    • i will be there 😁
    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
