I bought a stock 34 GT sometime ago, its black and ready for new rims but not sure what color, style and size to get. I could follow the trend and get chrome, but im thinking maybe black w/red trim or bronze. Also im aiming for 18" but i've heard its a defect it your past +1 sizes from the stockies?? Please give your opinions

in victoria u can go 2 inches higher and 1 inch wider.

get te37s or cr kais or something like that

edit: just noticed ur n/a... dont bother with rims do some engine mods

color chrome and black look good on a black car.

size has to be 18" if you go bigger, it look to big and shit also the ride is bad.

style the sky the limit there. what ever you like, it will make or brake car

i have 19's on my r34 and the ride is ok man.

i would actually go 17's to be honest. ive had 17, 18, and 19inch rims and the 17 were the best in terms of handling.

Im currently on my p's so that explains the na and at the moment im going for looks over speed. One day i'll do some engine work but legally im really limited anyways lol

And for the rims I think 18" it is. You think Black cr kais w/red trim will match the black car?

gun metal grey cr kais would look sick.

dont go black on black

if u want the red trim try to track down some super advans ooohhhh yeah

or some of the time attack volks

ive been considering getting some time attacks volks for a whille now,

white wheels would look good, any type of rays in good offset or work advan etc.

....Keep away from engine mods, never make your money back (especially on an NA). Buy some jap wheels so you can split if/when you sell the NA for a turbo after your Ps.

As for wheels, I'd def go black somethings with chrome lip or just full black :)

dont buy wheels, and save for a gtst :P

but more accurately and on topic, i would stay away with chrome (only cos i hate chrome full stop) bronze wouldnt be bad or even white.

and dont u dare do black on black, ew

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
