Wow its a bit of rubber and it made perth now. Saturday night was classic. a kid in dads merc ml500 4wd decides to boot it past us through the riverside drive fixed camera location. He got flashed easily doing 80+ and we just laughed at him.

Well fella's if you've ever wanted to be on tv it's easy to get your big shot!

I'll hold auditions for you if you want to give it a shot at the big time, saturday night meet me at City west, show me your best skid and i'll send it in to all the news crews... I guarantee you will be seen on tv ;P

not really to do with the 1st part of the vid, but at the end where a man went through a boost bus blew 08 over the limit then got caught later in the night overtaking a police car at 150km/h.

yes hes a nobhead for getting caught once let alone 2wice in the same night. but the police are bigger nobheads for letting him go. if its so dangerous to be drink driving and deserves a massive fine for it, how the hell is he still driving a few hours later? he should be off the road. just proves that all these laws and fines don't actually save lives.

f**k the system

well unless he waited till he sobered up/took a cab home, grabbed another car and got done again.

wouldnt be surprised if he cabbed it home for a third time took another car and off he went. third time lucky ey

can u guys remember the story about the idiot punk kids that were trying to brake into shops n stuff and one guy that was going 2 hold up a bank and walked into a glass door. what dumb asses the funny thing is the po po still cant catch them. so who is more retarded these punk kids or the incompetent police that cant catch them.

and the guy that got caught drink driving twice in the same night... isn't drink driving a hoon offense so how was he driving a car? did he get another car ?

and who saw the latest story about those young punk ass kids that were harassing the old retirees. shame and the sad thing it the po po will do nothing until one of the old guys beats down on the fags. to any of the old guys, if u are reading this dont wast ur time, just save up some money and pay some bikers to teach them a lesson 4 u

^ Obviously never been hoon lawed. They dont just take your car, they take you away as well, back to the shop for the fine.

DD Is arrest on the spot (hoon laws = no cuffs) and taken away in any case.

Perhaps it happened the other way around. Overtaking a cop car at 150 (in a 110 zone..less than 45 over the limit, doesnt come under hoon laws), gets a hefty fine, then caught for DD later (unlikely as almost ANY speeding fine = RBT anyway).

MAYBE.

Is also just as likely (if not MORE than likely) that all you sheep are getting fired up over PerthNow's latest fiction.

We are all lucky, especially because we are members of a "Car Club"

Next thing we know is the cops outlaw car clubs the same a bikers and we all live in fear of going on a nice Sunday cruise with mates for fear of being arrested.

Think its almost time to get rid of the 33 and invest in an Evo and just tell the police to buggeroff coz its stock.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
