The 255/40 and 285/35 are within a .5" difference which should be fine for the AWD.

I'm not AWD but i am running those same tire specs on my car. Wheels are 19x10.5 +43 all around with a 5mm spacer up front to clear the arms.

After adding a 5mm spacer: 245/40-19x9.5 +35

So what have I learned.... I think the following is a perfect set-up for the V36 skyline rwd sedan;
Front: 245 or 255/40-19x9.5 +35 (possibly a 245/40-19x9.0 +35)
Rear: 285/35-19x10.5 +45

Here is a sedan w/370 z wheels. Specs on the 370z wheels are:

front - 19x9, +47 offset
rear - 19x10, +30 offset

He is running a 20mm spacer on the front so the offset is essentially a 27mm.

The rear tires stick out because they have 295/40 tires. 275/35 would be perfect.

370z wheels are made by Rays and are 6-7lbs lighter than coupe wheels made by Enkei

Front:
Wheels: 19"x8.5". Cast aluminum. Made for Nissan/Infiniti by Enkei. Weight: 26.5 lbs. Bolt pattern 114.3 x 5 Offset +43

Rear:
Wheels: 19"x9". Cast aluminum. Made for Nissan/Infiniti byEnkei. Weight: 27.5 lbs. Bolt pattern 114.3 x 5. Offset +45

Girls can roll too.  Natalie was previously rolling on Vossen VVS-CV7s in Matte Graphite Machined in 20x9 20x10.5 +32/45 on 255/35/20 285/30/20. g37 sedan Vossen v36 skyline sedan

Natalie changed her setup to 20x10.5 +45 all around with Vossen VVS-CV7s in Silver Polished wrapped in 255/30/20 Nitto tires. I have a 5mm Akata Spacer front and back to prevent rubbing against the control arm in the front while giving some poke to the back

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
