How come you're not selling the pink fluffy dice? Or the twin overhead fox tails?

Cant bear to part with them? I guess they will fit the new car?

There's no way I'm selling the pink fluffy dice! You can always make room for fluffy dice! What the hell are twin overhead fox tails?? Were they a trend back in the 30's or something? :nyaanyaa:

Rear strut brace sold btw.

Let me introduce you to a classic

THE NEWCASTLE SONG

Bob Hudson

Chorus:

Dont' you ever let a chance go by,

O son of rajab,

Don't you ever let a chance go by.

Yes, up in Newcastle they have very strange mating habits.

All the young women of Newcastle

walk down the main street

which is called Hunter Street

for reasons that will become obvious

later on in the song.

All the young men of Newcastle

drive down Hunter Street

in their hot FJ Holdens

with chrome plated grease nipples

and double reverse

overhead twin cam door handles,

sitting eight abreast in the front seat,

and they lean out of the window

and say real cool things to the sheilas

on the footpath, like 'Aah g'day'.

And every now and then, of course,

one of the young ladies thinks to herself

Ummmm

she thinks

Ummmmm.

Don't you ever let a chance go by, oh son of rajab

Don't you ever let a chance go by

Chorus

Anyway there was this mob of blokes

driving down Hunter Street

in the front seat of the hot FJ

with chrome plated grease nipples

and twin overhead foxtails,

and the coolest of them all,

who got to sit near the window,

was young Norm.

And they pulled up outside

the Parthenon milk bar

and standing outside

the Parthenon was this beautiful looking sheila.

Oooh! Oooh! said young Normie

who'd come top of his class in English,

Ooooh! he said.

So he leaned out of the window,

and he said real, real suave like,

he said G'day.

This nine foot tall Hell's Angel

came out of the Parthenon milk bar,

looked at Norm and said

Arr, what are ya?

Norm said What are you?

Bloke on the footpath said

D'ya want a go, do ya mate, eh?

Norm said Yeah, d'you want a go, mate?

Bloke on the footpath said

Yeah I'll have a go

Norm said

D'you know who you're picking?

The bloke on the footpath said

Nah, who am I picking?

Norm said

You find out

And all of a sudden there was a break in the traffic, <---- Surely you have heard at least that bit before?? (Jayce/Sinister... tell em)

and as any young Newcastle lad knows-

when you're getting monstered

by a nine foot tall Hells Angel

and there's a break in the traffic....

Chorus

Don't you ever let a chance go by, oh son of rajab

Don't you ever let a chance go by

It's sad - but true...

What's really funny is their still cruising the main streets in towns like Newcastle in their holdens (commonwhores) and leaning out the window and say real cool things to the sheilas (Babe's) on the footpath, like 'Aah g'day' (W'sup)

    • Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.
    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
