Have searched the forums, but haven't found a definite answer for NA R34 coupes. I've found varying answers but mostly for GTT''s, sedan variants or R33's.

What are the part numbers for the front/rear brake pads, for the R34 25GT coupe (not GT-V etc)?

Get your self some QFM brake pads.

dont know the part numbers, but shoot an email to [email protected] and tell them what you have and they will had a pad to suit.

IMO much better than anything bendix put out, less brake dust and much better pedal feel.

It was hard for me to buy brake pads for my R34 25GT other then from nissan... everywhere i went they cross referenced me to the GTT rotors and brakes... then they matched up my brake pads with some mitsubishi 4x4 (really similar)... i ended up going to nissan (paid a bit more) because i couldn't be stuffed handling with incompetent people, I would of ended up punching them (I was sent to 4 different repco's to pick up the wrong parts all in one day)! pinch.gif

How much did you pay for the pads from Nissan?

Its a complete Mission to find almost any part for a NA R34 just another negative of owning this car and because of this i find myself putting off fixing up certain faults, brake pads need changing and i might need to go to nissan and pay a premium price im guessing and wait a while like i did for one bearing that took over 2 weeks, so a clarification on aftermarket Pads will really be great if there is any 25GT couple owner out there knows both Rear and Front setup for a coupe 25GT :worship:

I did these last year. Went to supercheap or autobarn. This was correct:

Front DB 1308 (same as Mitsubishi Triton ute, Nissan Maxima A32, A33)

Rear DB 1144 (same as Nissan Maxima)

^ that is 110% correct for non-turbo R34 GT (excluding GTv, GTt, GT-R).

I posted that stuff a while back. :P

But honestly - if the price difference is small, best go genuine.

I know you did a good job, but there were 25GT owners who swear the pads were the same as a R33GTS and then i had you and some people claim the maxima pads, very confusing but i got it done and can say your assesment on the pads is right.

Anyone know rotor sizes?

I've measured The front about roughly about 285mm diameter and about 26mm thick.

If you go on the dba website it has the r34 gt rb25de as on option (surprisingly) but it shows it as 296x30mm.

Can someone please clarify?

I eneded up going Genuine Nissan.

The guy at the dealership told me the rotors are the same as 350z (non-brembo), Maxima and V35 Skyline (non-brembo) - But honestly give them you R34's VIN and they can definately say.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
