Stock 1j Computer

i have aquired a jz gte off a friend. I believe its from a 94 soarer. it come with a wiring harness but no computer.I want to just run it stock with the auto. Can anyone point me to the best place to get a stock computer or maybe another GOOD forum to find info about these motors and conversions with them( into something like a commodore/family car).

Go checkout Toymods, plenty of jz conversions go on there, ecu should be easy to find there also.

my suggestion with the TT 1j though:

if you're going all out - there a few guys with blitz access ECUs for sale, may as well spend the extra cash and make a statement

BUT

if going stock - there's a $15 over the counter solenoid that you buy from toyota which makes the computer run a lot easier and more powerful. you get about 30% better economy too

also when you DO set this up - google "soarer ecu reset"
