What Kind Of Pod Filter For A R33?

Im wondering what kind of pod filter i need for my 33, as in size, brand, price and all that.

keep the stock airbox if you have it, just chuck in a panel filter..

my advice, dont bother getting a pod unless you've got a decent enclosure for it..

man dont listen to these guys

few of em taking the piss out of ya

though no pod is prob a good option

compared to just a pod hanging of your intake

get a k&n pod

and some sort of enclosure (as hot air goes if open to)

and then if you want get another pipe going to outside (maybe near the front bar etc) of the car for cold air

POD will give you that "whoosh" sound from the stock BOV & thats about it...

its just not worth getting a fine for having a pod and fmic (if you have one)

and you will lose power from the pod sucking in hot air

you can get cheap enclosures off ebay for 130 or something, in that case, you may have a small increase in power, but not noticeable, the only thing that will be noticeable is the pssssssshhhhhhhhh noise it makes that will eventually annoy the shit out of you.

If you want a pod filter, buy the best quality filter you can afford/justify. If you like it then keep it, if you don't, get rid of it.

Simple as that really.

if the pod is just sucking hot air from the engine bay it won't help or give you more power, it can only hurt. u can either buy a pod and then spend money and time buying/making/finding a heat shield, or just put a good panel filter in, which will also make the stock bov a bit louder

Had mine for over 2 years now & that whoosh sound still doesn't annoy me

Did tests with the stock airbox and no filter/open box. Then did a run with the blitz lm panel filter with box closed. Both runs pulled 281kw. No loss. Get a blitz filter. Very good!
