Man what a fu(ken wanker, changes his story so he doesn't get flamed! It fu(kwits like that that make it hard for people like us to drive cars like ours on the Victorian roads.

PS- nice avatare INSASNT and Pred :D

lol, you totally missed the point didnt you.. lol i didnt change any story, i simply clarified it.

Well.. yet again another w@nker from MCCR being a TOOL!!!! And this time the Pres of the club... Why would you post up something like that.. there are things that are better left unsaid!!

And that "Cage saved my life" bulllshit..was just a cover-up reason to post such a stupid thing.

all im going to say is that he is full of sh!t!!

That rollcage isnt what saved hes life.. it was luck.

Look at what Kevwrx posted on there.. I would believe him over some IDIOT anyday about car handling and speed impacts..

Its good to see where MCCR are heading.. DOWN.. just as i thought they would..

All the ppl i know that have had anything to do with the club have been there only a short time cos they see the crap that happens there and join another club like myself..

Hey and Amber.. YOU GO GURLLLLLL

On a better note though.. Glad that no-one got seriously hurt.. even if it was the tool himself...could have been alot worse..

Plz drive safe on the roads ppl!!!!!!

cheers!!

watever dude.

believe what u like. wish bad things on other clubs if u must, but ive already said my peice.

i dont see the point in bagging out people that are in the same game as you.

kev never said 'mark was driving' he simply said he didnt think the cage design was good. So i dont understand where u are going there with that comment.

"And that "Cage saved my life" bulllshit..was just a cover-up reason to post such a stupid thing."

lol, and you know this for a fact? LOL, ithink id know better than all of you put togehter seeing as i was there.. Look on performanceforums.com, minutes after id posted on mccr, he posted 'get a cage, it saved my mates life' - so i dunno where ya going with that comment either

fark it.

im not gonna bother replying to any more threads here.

i understand the majority of the people on this board are probably reasonable people, unfortunately theres always a few in the bunch that seem to focus more on dissing others to get ahead in life rather than improving their own things.

seeyaz ppls..

drive safe

i assumed the owner of the car is a guy named simon from this:

"hey simon, u know the 600hp skyline i was gonna buy" ...from you

and then i thought... who lets other people drive their car?

hmmm confusing

Simon's an importer from brissy (and also judge at auto salon etc)... owns that sweet RX7 too. I think he imported the car for one of mark's mates. The guy who was driving at the time is also a common friend of marks n the owner I'm assuming, and hence why he trusted the guy with the keys. I'd assume mark went along just to make sure that he din do anything silly.

Those are my thoughts, but I could be wrong.

Well again MCCR shows us how not to behave on the road great plug for the club maybe put some stickers on the car and send them to the cops

Well done i would be proud to be a Member of MCCR

/me waits for r31 nismoid to join in

mods maybe remove this thread we dun need this shit on our forums

What a joke of a thread!!!!!!!!! I got no idea why u keep feeling the need to defend yourself Mark if it supposedly doesnt bother u. I bet u wish u didnt post those pics/thead now. Oh well.... too late.

Its also a shame that there is more to the story people dont know about --- All i can say is well done on covering a lot up so well. Shoudla said a kangaroo instead of a Wombat though .... A nocturnal animal in the middle of the road ?? As if u would see it at 180km/h as u come over the crest of a hill... then suddently brake, lock up to avoid it, etc. :bs!:

Meh... People have made up their own minds, you did a good enuf job of depicting yourself a moron.

Am i missing something here? does MCCR have a bad reputation for wankers suck as the complete dumbass who f**ked up a perfectly good skyline. Then stands on the wreak and laughs? This Is Bullshit. :bs!: :cuss:

---

To Whoever was driving the skyline i would have NO SYMPATHY for you if one of your limbs needed to be cut off.

So, does MCCR have a bad reputation?

i dont see the point in bagging out people that are in the same game as you.

GAME?

That's all this is to you isn't it.

A game.

You come in here telling people not to assume anything, and then you make a post assuming that everyone is "in the same game" as you?

Life isn't a "game" to most of us.

Most of us have respect for our cars, our lives, and the lives of others.

Just because a car is capable of going fast, it doesn't mean that you (or others) have the right to use public roads as a race track.

:thumbdwn:

damn... ex-mccr members are coming out of the woodwork lol... i'mma close this thread soonish...

just hope all y'all remember that australia's 2nd fastest GTSt is now dead.

    • Oh, it's been done. You just run a wire out there and back. But they have been known to do coolant temp sensors, MAP sensors, etc. They're not silly (at Regency Park) and know what's what with all the different cars.
    • Please ignore I found the right way of installing it thanks
    • There are advantages, and disadvantages to remapping the factory.   The factory runs billions of different maps, to account for sooooo many variables, especially when you bring in things like constantly variable cams etc. By remapping all those maps appropriately, you can get the car to drive so damn nicely, and very much so like it does from the factory. This means it can utilise a LOT of weird things in the maps, to alter how it drives in situations like cruise on a freeway, and how that will get your fuel economy right down.   I haven't seen an aftermarket ECU that truly has THAT MANY adjustable parameters. EG, the VAG ECUs are somewhere around 2,000 different tables for it to work out what to do at any one point in time. So for a vehicle being daily driven etc, I see this as a great advantage, but it does mean spending a bit more time, and with a tuner who really knows that ECU.   On the flip side, an aftermarket ECU, in something like a weekender, or a proper race car, torque based tuning IMO doesn't make that much sense. In those scenarios you're not out there hunting down stuff like "the best way to minimise fuel usage at minor power so that we can go from 8L/100km to 7.3L/100km. You're more worried about it being ready to make as much freaking power as possible when you step back on the loud pedal as you come out of turn 2, not waiting the extra 100ms for all the cams to adjust etc. So in this scenario, realistically you tune the motor to make power, based on the load. People will then play with things like throttle response, and drive by wire mapping to get it more "driveable".   Funnily enough, I was watching something Finnegans Garage, and he has a huge blown Hemi in a 9 second 1955 Chev that is road registered. To make it more driveable on the road recently, they started testing blocking up the intake with kids footballs, to effectively reduce air flow when they're on the road, and make the throttle less touchy and more driveable. Plus some other weird shit the yankee aftermarket ECUs do. Made me think of Kinks R34...
    • I do this, I also don't get the joke
    • Return flow cooler will be killing you I reckon. You can certainly push more through a low mount setup but they're good numbers for a stock looking engine bay.  Mine made 345rwkw (hub) at 22psi on 98 with a "highflow" on a stock manifold but it's a long way from a normal high flow or standard engine. I used one of those Turbosmart IWG-75's and it was great with the Motec running closed loop boost with pressure being applied to both sides of the diaphragm.
