New Cruze?

Or old Cruze?

Personally I'm not a Holden fan, so I don't really go for either of them to be honest. You should let people know if you meant the old one or the new one though. Or even both if that's what floats it for you...

Tom or Penelope?

Tom's got the nicer smile... and was in Top Gun... but I don't wanna catch Scientology...

*edit* no wait... he's a "Cruise" you know, like when lots of cars drive somewhere together in an organised fashion... not a "Cruze" so I guess it's the flat chested horse face lady by default :ninja:

    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
    • Bloody apprentices! 🙄
    • Not sure yet.  Was considering speedtek because it was rated to 800hp, but when I did some research about him I don't think I will go for that🤣 So maybe giken gear set, but I'm afraid it won't be strong enough🙄
    • Keeping in mind that for most people this is a week to month long job!
    • Its also worth mentioning that 30 years after it left the factory and god knows how many missed oil changes since, there is every possibility that one or more lifters are ticking because they are sticky/gummed up. To resolve that you need to pull the cams then pull each lifter, disassemble, clean, reassemble, soak in oil and re-install, and they should come up good as new.
