i was at work and i get a call from my wife saying my alarm was going off and she had tried pushing the unlock button which normally turns it off however it was not working it had to be switched off at the alarm system thingy. i have been having problems with my car already not starting either because the altanator is not charging or the battery is flat i got a jump start the other day and took it for a five min drive but had to go back to work i am going to buy a battery on wednesday and see if that saves the day if not any sussgestions thanks guys

and many times the alarm backup battery(if it has one) will be shagged as well if you drain the main battery down a few too many times

when you have a full charge on the battery if you pull off one of the battery cables it should go off, if it gets alot quieter then normal the alarm battery is shagged too.

(just replace a R31 siren cause of this very reason) but then again the alarm was 9 years old too..lol
