Where did you get the brake adapters made?

Also on your splitter, do you have any pics please showing how you attached the ply to the garden edging? I'm guessing 90 degree alloy edging cut into small pieces

Pauly D is making them for me, can't wait to see the difference in braking!

They're little right angle brackets with a hole on each side. i got them from bunnings

and that bonnet and catches, so HAWWWWT

Thanks man.

never really cared how it looked (in fact always prefered go>show) but now i want carbon all over it ! sooo light and good looking :)

car looking good mate, any more details on the brake dog bones?

is he able to make any for R33 GTST > 330mm rotors?

I'll have to ask, he was doing them as a favour for me. but im going a bit of a different way now - see below

this things a rig!!! love it!!

thanks man, means a lot coming from someone with a car like yours :)

i have just ordered a new Sparco Pro 2000 as i need to log book my car. i want to enter the CAMS NSW supersprints and apparently i fall into 4D category. i need add a couple of extra roll bars in too.

I also just ordered some new front brakes. Wilwood 4 pot superlites? they are a 330mm 2 piece rotor so should stop alright now. budget end of braking i know but should work really well i think.

Finally bit the bullet and bought an R33 gearbox, was $800 and local so couldn't say no.

I have two events this month, 1st is the SAU texi at Sutton and the 2nd is a TCC Interclub SS at wakie on the 27th. It will be the last drive until Nationals as my first born is due June 1st, im guessing I’ll be too tired for anything else :)

Got a bit to do over the next week so stay tuned for updates.

New seat will be put in this weekend and im going to make up some boot/wing supports to stop it flexing as well.

Saftywire finally came, bolts got all wired up.

not too bad for my first go at it.

yep, im a lucky sob.

took the dip at the SAU Texi day too quick and this is the result

LH LCA, castor rod and camber tops all came loose and moved. the only damage to the suspension was two of the camber plate bolt on the rh got bent when it moved in.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
