if i was a salesperson yeh :), im a PR rep

More money in sales you know :)

and if you become Corporate PR officer you have to sleep with the clients, I am sure there are plenty of C-level execs out there that would take a fancy to a 19 year old boy

yeh more money in sales, but everyone hates sales people, after cold calling on saturday i feel real sorry for telemarketers now

"Below the line" sales, like telemarketing and cold calling out of the phone book are crap. The only person who makes money out of that is the owner of the business.

You need to be looking at things like Corporate Accounts Manager, Corporate Business Development Manager, Corporate Sales Manager...... all those are 60K to well over a 100K positions.

yeh after the amount of abuse i got on saturday cold calling, im not going near the phones unless i have too.

and those manager positions all come with experience which i dont have yet.

Yeah true..... it has taken me ten years to get to be a Corporate BDM.

The last 2 and a half years of running Umart were driving me up the wall, but it was a means to an end and I am glad to be out of there.

At least you are going in the right direction

$50.00 out of someone elses sale is good on top of your base.

It helps if you don't look at it in the short term.

Take a longer view of your commission and add everything over a monthly or quarterly period. It adds up to much more than you think. Especially if you are getting a half decent base.

You have to ride out the less lucrative times with a view to the future, build and retain a client network, because you can use those people as a business reference when you have enough experience under your belt to start going for the big money jobs.

Don't be discouraged, stick with it

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
