r34 need to be complied?

i own a 98' r34 skyline gt-t and currently live in new zeland, i am moving to peth, and was wondering if i would have to have the car complied in australia? the car is a jap import and was complied on arrival to new zeland 18mths ago when i bought it, if anyone could help me out with some info id really appreciate it, thanks

hey mr34,

im pretty sure if you coming over 2 perth 2 live then you can bring your car with you under the personal import scheme which means that it doesn't need 2 be complied or go through any of the SEV (or watever it is called)

It will need to be owned and registered by yourself in NZ, and evidence of you owning it for 12 months or more. By the sounds of things you have most of that covered and will be in luck.

You shouldn't need it complied in Australia, however you may have to swap minor things like the seatbelts and things like that.
