Be cautious of teh spark plug.

Audi build beautiful cars. The 370 is no slouch but not in the same bracket as the Audi in terms of class. It is more hairdresserish though.

f**k the both of them off and buy a second hand RS6. V8TT ftw.

Hold up, I thought it was a V10TT???

get a BMW 135I that'll kill the TTs plus it will only set you back $75,000-$85,000 depending on what options you get...

Yeah after some quick googling, looks like the early 2000 model ones the C5 and has a V8TT and newer 2008 onwards C6 has a V10TT.

I actually don't mind the TTS, they're a nice AWD turbo option for those that don't want a massive coupe ;)

The B7 S4 is a good buy, don't see many for sale though....the RS4 is still commanding stupid prices on carsales, the B8 S4 or the S5 work out to be much better value for money.....the S5 is my pick of the bunch :P

Correct. There are no further tax deductions beyond a purchase price of approx $57K. You can only claim the GST if the entity purchasing the vehicle is an ABN holder and the vehicle is either new or bought second hand from another ABN holder and they can provide you a tax invoice for the purchase. But even then you are capped on your GST claim to the luxury car tax threshold. The only advantage in buying a car higher than the luxury car threshold and even if you can call it an advantage is claiming a higher interest payment. Even better if you can justify 99% company use. False ecomony in my opinion. But I bought for the vehicle, tax benefits were just a bonus.

Are you an Accountant as well or just a very knowledgeable business entrepreneur? :P

S5 is a no go,

my boss has one so it would be a lil "funny" them having the same car. Good suggestions though, but as for 135i HELL NO they are disguisting!

I know what your saying about the looks of the 135i, however in terms of bang for your buck, well they nearly beat an M3...

    • I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.
    • From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
    • Does anyone on here know which wire on the GTT triple gauge pod harness is for the oil temp gauge? my sensor works fine but I upgraded the gauges to DEFI advance. And if I can simply piggyback off the oem oil temp wire to the Defi oil temp sensor wire that would make life so much easier.
