so amongst all the crap charlie you need to really identify your current mods, how much you want to spend and what power you want to make

as the power goes up, so does the spend and the rate at which things break so be reasonable, ie dont say your happy with 300rwkw and want to spend 3k

be realistic and you should be ok

a basic GTST with std turbo is good for 200rwkw

a mild GTST with hiflow is good for 250rwkw

a mildish GTST with internal large is good for 300rwkw

a heavy GTST with external large is good for 350rwkw

so pick your target, again, each power band, the cost goes up exponetially

Party pooper... :nyaanyaa:

ok so it sounds like all the dream boats on here r a bunch of cocks...... I would be happy with 250rwkw and I don't want to spend to much.

I have a,

HKS FconS ecu

Bosh 044 fuel pump

front mount cooler

S/S flowed turbo manifold

S/S dump pipe with wastgate pipe

3"dump to the cat and 3.5" after that

2850 Stall converter for the auto

Sard fuel reg

The ECU was tuned over in japan for 278.8PS with front mount and fuel pump thats it..

1. What is "S/S"?

Sounds like some laggy/cheap ebay rubbish to me. It will crack, and then you will cry.

Put the stock manifold back on.

2. Ditch the F-Con. No one can tune them. PowerFC of Nistune are the cheapest options.

As for turbo - same as everyone else. Please read the Dyno results thread.

There are plenty of turbo options

Probably from some stupid performance shop's shit like Gentech....then again, if it's anything like Gentech I don't think he can afford it....

http://www.gentechperformance.com/ford/packages.html

Have a look at their prices for each stage....BUT KEEP IN MIND each stage's price is ASSUMING you've already purchased the previous stages....rofl

LOL stage 1

3.5k, all they do is a flash tune and CHANGE OVER injectors.

WTF?

Thats no more than $1800 on a epically bad day...

Some people just take it in the ass when it comes to off-shelf stuff like that.

And no.

Not anyone can tune a F-Con. You need the HKS software that only approved tuners are supplied with etc.

There is like one tuner per state in Australia, effectively limiting you unnecessarily.

i think S/S means stainless steel Ash..

But no promises...

Yeah, kinda missed the point :D

I mean is it an ebay special??? (I suspect it is).

Also to make the most of your stage 2 turbo you will need at least the following

Stage 1 > ecu and fuel system upgrade, driveline brake and suspension packages

Stage 2 > filters, exhaust and intercooler

Stage 3 > weight reduction package, tyres and NOS

Your NOS bottle will refill itself automatically as you perform drifts, tricks or hold you racing line

You will also need drift wing, widebody kit, pearlescent paint with matching tint, neons and at least 20inch (preferably 22inch) wheels for reputation points and street cred. And dont forget carbon fibre, lots of it, and not the stick on stuff, thats for posers

Dont listen to these guys telling you your inlet manifold will blow or floorpans will fall out, that only happens in the movies. :P .

BUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!

look mate if your after 250rwkw+ speak to stao at hypergear i have a target of 300rwkw and im looking at the ATR43 G3 profile (best bang for buck) with supporting mods of injectors (750cc) but that high is not needed, FMIC, Z32AFM, Microtech LT12-s and possibly a cam gear on exhaust side, and a turbotech boost controller. stao reckons this should get me 300rwkw easy.

like i said speak to stao he will have the answers

    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
