I have now got the leather stitched wheel to fit to the 25G that has a harder thinner wheel which feels uncomfortable. Have searched for safe method to remove and fit but could not find any DIY stuff.

How do you go about it? Info appreciated.

disconnect the battery, remove airbag, remove nut holding wheel on (but leave it on a few turns, so you dont smack yourself in the face with the wheel) loosen steering wheel, remove nut, remove wheel. reverse process to install new wheel :)

its not all that difficult, so dont be worried. just dont drop the airbag and make sure the battery is disconnected before you go about doing this.

Thanks. Will do it soon.

sorta correct. you need a t30 torx key for starters hugh, after you get the side covers off there are two torx bolts, this releases the airbag module -note: do not turn ignition on when airbag and horn is not connected, it can throw an error. and you can just pull the airbag fuse in the engine bay. make sure airbag error light goes off when plugged back in.
