Hi guys, im just about to order some BC racing BR model coilovers from justjap, i just want to confirm some things before i send away $1300

1- Are the BR range the better model? over the V1?

2- What is this spring rate like in relation to old common tien coilovers? F: 8kg R: 6kg (i want something SLIGHTLY softer but still firm, since its my daily)

3- I think i can install them myself, as me and my bro have general mechanic knowledge behind us, but we haven't changed coils before, is there anything specific we should know about installation and tuning?

Cheers guise

yeah the BR's are the mid spec... ER's are top of the range.

the 8/6 combo isnt too bad.. but if you drive on shit roads i would defo go with a 7/5 combo or even 6/4 and run upgraded anti roll bars.

coilovers in a 33 are very easy to install.. all you need is a basic socket kit, a jack and pair of axle stands

1- Im pretty sure v1 are being phased out as we speak, whats being sold now is only left over stock.

2- Pretty sure standard spring rates will be 8/6 for most brands. Think its the same for teins.

3- Im curious as well. Ive just bought some bc coilovers my self and am planning to install them as soon as they get here.

The V1's are pretty good, I have the 8/6 combo

think they are a bit softer then the BR series because of the rubber/pillowball mounts but not sure (thought for some reason BR series are solid mount but could be wrong)

There good quality for the price, Im happy with them
