Hey guys, the Mrs is wrecking her R33 so got a hell of a lot for sale. Not selling the actual car though!

All the parts are still assembled on the car, so i can get pics tomorrow of it all fitted up. Im beginning to disassemble items slowly, just hard with work. Prices are negotiable but items wont be given away otherwise she will just keep them. All parts are still new, havent had the car running with the current set up yet. reason shes selling is to have something a bit more practical.

I did have a list of every part, but i dont have Microsoft Word on here, so ill do my best remembering everything

Will go over the car and add items that i have missed coz im sure there are, with a long term build and so many parts keeping track of everything done is a nightmare, will also add pics.

As i mentioned earlier, most parts are still brand new although fitted.

Postage can be done, although the bigger items organizing your own freight would be great due to work/time commitments.

Prices are again negotiable but not giveaways otherwise she will just keep it all as it is.

Located on the Gold Coast QLD. Do have family in northside brisbane so if that makes it easier to meet up there with them that is fine. Also travel to Cleveland for work daily so again i can bring parts for a meet up in that area as well.

Cheers Guys

Ben.

PM on here is the easiest way to contact.

- Forgot to mention the turbo lines are braided.

- The block has been done to accomodate the ARP 1/2"head studs, also used ARP rod bolts

can also separate parts from the head to make it easier

Head/motor/Jun pump- Basically sold

I also have guys a custom car trailer that was built by my uncle a qualified boilermaker. Shes a big one, i designed it so the car sits on the tray with no overhang, tray is mesh steel

75x50x3 main frame

50x50x3 cross frames

Dual self leveling/tilting axles, perfect for low cars. rated at 2000kg

4x 14" ford rims with light truck tyres

4x electric brakes with brake controller.

Has 4m long ramps framing is complete but needs the mesh steel welded on. They can also be shortened depending on the car i didnt bother but i could have cut them down.

Perfectly balanced, honestly having the r33 on it behind a petrol rodeo ute from sydney to Gold Coast was no effort whatso ever

I need to mount the rear lights, jokey wheel, give it a paint, if you wanted to do the mesh u could, otherwise with a deposit i could have it all completed ready to go. (no rego)

im willing to part with it for alot less than it cost me so

$4200 and i can have it all ready to go ( with a deposit)

$3600 for the everything but the mesh steel ramps welded up ( finding a time to get a mate with a welder can be tough)

i can try get a pic of it but its at my bosses place in his shed as i dont have room for it here

cheers...ben.

Rydeit: yeh mate still got the rear brakes with lines, were u after the hubs also? the car was going to have a gtr rear end fitted but never happened.

Guys i had the fuel pump as an 044 but got confused with another pump in the other car its actually a 984 so $65 for that.

Ben...

heres some pics

the drainpipe on the turbo is not included this was just used to trial things in the workshop, was taken prior to getting coated, can get an undated pic also, the frontal view of the turbo shows how Leigh made it sit lower that way there are no clearance issues with the rb30 block

will get more pics of ecu etc and other items u may be interested in

    • And if you want more power, more reliably, and cheaper, go get the Aussie RB... The 4L Barra and put that in instead.
    • No cats will keep discolouring the rear bar. Sends white paint a weird yellow stain. Cut and polish normally gets it out, but you'll be doing that every fortnight I found.
    • Both heads will be equally reliable or unreliable depending on what you do to them.  Stock the RB26 head will flow more. You have access to the stock intake ITB manifold on the RB26 cheaply which flows really well(1000hp+).   Arguably more aftermarket support for RB26, though in Aus we love our RB30 SOHC heads too.    The only downsides to the RB26 head is if you have a VL commodore and want to keep the SOHC look.  Where you may have an issue is drilling out the rb30 block for the bigger head studs but if you are building a big power motor you'd probably put bigger studs on the SOHC head too.  This is just about finding a good machine shop, sometimes easier said than done.  RB30 head worked can make big power just like a Rb26 head, so really it actually more comes down to what your preference is for your car.  People now even making billet versions of both.
    • 2630s work perfectly well. There is something to be said for just using the 30 head, as it saves all the pain of the conversion, still makes tons of power, still sounds cool, etc etc. 2630 will obviously make more power again, but the differences are not stupidly big. It really depends on whether you're racing for sheep stations or not. If it's dead serious, then it's a 26 head. If it's just for fun, it could go either way. But the 26 head and the effort to get it set up, etc etc, is part of the fun.
    • I've been building a 26/30 for a few years now. I've had the head built with all the good stuff. I had a 32 gtr but blew it up and yes its all going into a vl but im looking for some advice from some RB nuts on pros and cons on putting a 26 head on a 30 bottom end is it worth it Works are as follows Head -Extensive porting 1mm oversized supertech valves Supertech double springs Supertech valve guides Supertech titanium retainers Tomei solid lifters Tomei 270 x 10.25 cams Head drain Bottom end series 2 rb30 block Cp ceramic coated pistons Eagle rods Romac balancer Oil restrictions  O ringed blah blah spent a fortune And will get a girdle because the 30s arent used to handling that much rpm Nitto billet oil pump Hypertune plenum 6boost mani Refurbed astra pump thats the cover for it in the boot I did have a precision 6262 but sold it because drag car life. Currently building the ass end full 4 link floater rear end with a 2 speed  But the dilemma i have is my mate rekens I should just stick with the 30 head for reliability. Has any one had any issues with mounting the 26 head ie compression blowing gaskets etc. Just looking for some advice from people who have gone down this route. Here's some photos. Blew the oil pump in the gtr and decided to rip the motor out at the time and do a full build only to find it had been a repairable write off so went down this path.
