Gday, I am 19 and pretty new to the import scene, but a while ago i imported a black 1993 r32 gtr with 61 questionable kms on the clock. when it arrived at the docks they ran it out of fuel, which some how made the computer freak out and melt something inside. so got it towed home and had it sitting around for a bit until i took it to jasmac where it was fixed and tuned. I picked it up one late afternoon when it was dark and wet and drove it home carefully on the snow tiers. That night i drove it to work cos i had my permit to drive it there. As i was driving it home it decided to die. zero oil pressure, engine stalling and the worst knock you could imagine. Got my mate to tow me home, and thats where the car has been sitting the last few months. Have been saving and think i might now take it to the mechanics to get a proper diagnoses and tell me what my options are.

Anyway here are some pics.

hope you like :)

    • Might be worthwhile hitting up Facebook's groups, I know most of them contain terrible people and scammers - however you might be able to find someone that's in Sydney with factory suspension you could purchase and/or hire. Just do not send any form of money anywhere, in person cash only.
    • Thanks @Duncan Ride height is fine. I think it's almost stock tbh. Happy to share a pic. I don't actually have a regular mechanic as haven't lived in Sydney too long. Could you or anyone recommend any shops in Sydney?
    • You just need a different blue slip shop (preferably one you regularly use as a mechanic), and make sure the coil overs are as close as possible to standard height
    • yeah the sugar refining companies were pushing for the same in Oz originally, all fuels were going to have 10% ethanol to make them "cheaper" (noting, that the loss in l/100 might be greater than the decrease in price). I guess they won that fight in Canadia
    • GTSboy, thank you again. i’ve been reading all the other SAU RB25 vacuum line threads and you have the utmost patience for people asking “where do my vacuum lines go”. it’s appreciated. i did also enlist a few other RB guys local to me.  i would like to run 5 to 4. turbo pressure side to wastegate actuator. i would like to run 3 to 1. power steering air valve line to intercooler outlet. (this is how it was previously). i was told 2 is the bleed port for the boost solenoid - which i’m not running - so should be capped.   anyone see any problems with that?
