Jack88
I doubt you'll get over 400rwkw with a 0.82 rear on pump. I would think that around 350rwkw would be maximum on pump with a 0.82rear. As for intercoolers - The most thermally efficient cores I've seen are from process west. The plazmaman ones are close but process west are definately the best. There have been a few people that have cracked 400rwkw with the 82 rear. check out this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/251820-got-over-400kw-atw/ My setup is aimed at 400rwkw and im running the 82 rear. Jap_Muscle
So Guys, would a T4 1.00 split rear housing be a good option? just remember someone saying the split exhaust housing could restrict flow? is this true? I dont think theres a need to go to a T4. you always want to match turbos to your power goal and nothing bigger. Whats the cars aim and power goals? Id have to agree with you about the doubt. Ive been trying for a good year to crack the 400kw on the .82 rear however most for the time is just saving up to buy the parts. All i need is new intercooler and possibly new valve springs. Spool rods ACL forgies 272 ,9mm lift cams ferrera valve springs 1mm oversize exhaust valves ported head 6 boost mani greddy plenum ross ballancer and everything else you do to make an engine like this reliable It made 220rwkw and 400nm of tourqe at 5000 rpm running just the 7psi wastegate spring (no boost controller) starts making boost at 2000 rpm. This was for run in, The tune is pritty rich too so if i wanted it it would probly be able to get another 20kw or so out of it and still be a nice and safe tune. The thing pulls like a train even when only reving it to 4500rpm (this is the limiter for run in) so im not even using the turbo in its efficiency range yet.
