How could you not notice that PhatMirage was only like 3 to 4 feet taller than everyone else...........? :)

lol...yeah I did....I asked him to kneel down at one stage so I didn't feel so freakin short

Another good night and some great fun.. Even if we did end up taking the "scenic" route and lost everybody. But there was no WAY i was stopping in front of the blue boys.

Was loosing traction fair bit going up those twisties.. damn crappy tyres. Also have to love it when the exact moment you lose a bit of traction a car happens to be coming right around that same corner :-$ few scary moments. I need a GTR :)

Still want to know what happened to the sil80 driver who just kinda stopped (stuffed something?) in the other lane of the mountain? when a few other cars were coming the other way??

Yeah but the sad thing is that all those people who did not go through beechmont, only did the warm up twisties, Beechmont was the main feature of the cruise, but shit hppens, got heaps of maps ready so if we ever do it again they'll be there!

yup..wherever we *did* end up was a pretty mad route.. one lane most of the way and exciting features such as gravel and pitch blackness. Was pretty mad in itself, but had absolutely no idea where i was or where i was going, until i finally saw a sign that said "nerang 26km"

Cool well at least it was an enjoyable night for even those who got lost.

Still dissapointed about the guy who got the ticket, that just pain sucks, and it was on my cruise, oh well, you get that on these big jobs :)

I have to say i was very impressed with my maiden voyage!!

The GTR i was passenger in sure had some pull thru those twisties and a few of the straights!! (It is for sale by the way :D ) Good to meet the crew. Pity about the split group but such is life. And as for the speeding ticket...110 in a 70 pulled over by a police dog unit (dont know if they had a radar or what, kev didnt see any reading....) Maybe i should not have even invited him BUGGER!! Thats what happens if your the 1st or the last in the pack i suppose.

I look forward to the next adventure.

Haro

I emailed the pics to Chris (Nexus) and waiting for him to post them, if doesnt I'll wait till I get instructions from Adrian (strutto) on putting them up onto somewhere using his webspace, either way I'll get them up here :D

    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
    • Well, I was using ECUTalk software if that helps? Not sure if that only can see engine codes? Is there any other software I could give a try? Or any way I can get a blink code?
    • I never touched it, it should have. I'll try to give it an adjust. With IACV plugged in, it idles at around 1120RPM on average. Max 1200 RPM, Minimum 1025RPM before it starts dropping right before stalling. Took the data from the Nistune logs.
    • Thats what im trying to solve bro  no one with aem tuner experience would advice  much appreciate
