Rims For 34 Gtt

Hey guys, I recently bought a 34 GTT and i plan to put some new rims on and fit coilovers, To be honest i have no idea about offsets etc, Im looking at 18" Jap style wheels, But i plan to have the car engineered in the near future, So i need to make sure that everything is legal, So i guess my question is what is the widest wheels i can fit on the front and rear without having to flare the guard's etc but still staying legal ?

18 x 8.5 +29 235/40/18 on the front

18x 9.5 +25 245/40/18 on the rear

these are my current size/offset, not too outrageous but still pretty phat dude.

my beast has a fat ass from behind with those back wheels

^^ Thanks heaps for your reply, The 2 sets of rims i am currently looking at are both 8.5" 30P fronts and 9.5" 35p rear. Any idea on how hard they would be to fit up ?

you could probably go for a few mm more offset if you like. however the offsets of the wheels your looking at will fit no probs.

just like fitting any other wheel.

Im still deciding between 18 or 19", Just worry that 18's will look to small. My mate just recently put 18's on his s14 and even on a much smaller looking car they look tiny.

go for the rota grid's in black. you can fit 9.5's all around if you really want to, but it depends on the look you are trying to achieve (i.e. flush with the guards, aggressive, etc.) Go 18 inch btw, 19 inch looks better on a GTR

I came across someones black gtt with 9.5" on the rear, not actually a huge fan, they stuck out way to far in my opinion, it's just very hard to find nice wheels in 8.5" or 9".

Well this is the outcome, The guys at Taleb Tyres hooked me up with these, Lenso d1R.
