you cant go out? haha why, no car obv?

lol, totally missread that then. yeh being on call would suck, i wouldnt know tho

Still got my 32 at the moment just can't go wandering around when I am on call.

welcome Excuses.

no idea about the 32 you speak of.

Mines a white 33 gtst. also morayfield. gunmetal GTR wheels on it. hope ta seeya at meet soon. we def got a good collection of white and black cars now :)

sry troy dont need any panel beating....and i entirely missed your good buy when you left fasta pasta on wed night......

and didnt see your post till today, speaking of today. anyone head to the Dyno day today??

I knida went to a dyno day... My 34 was on the dyno and I had to go visit it twice, once for fuel the other for a new wastegate actuator as the stock one was crap. with the doddgy actuator it was making 186.something kw's at the wheels so after that is done it should make good power now.

haha nah didnt look liek you were flipping me off, i was too slow to react to it lol.

Bris, try using the full reply instead of the quick, there should be an option to upload from your pc or something^

anyone know of a good handling specialist, more exp with aftermarket coilovers, Hicas, Camber and shit like that?

Have a feeling my hicas is playing up or something else is going on, i'm not taking it back to where it's been they don't have any idea.

Got the 34 back.

The Good:

makes 204.4kw's at the wheels.

pulls nicely.

can make up to 230rwkw's.

Sounds Tough.

the bad:

Blew the turbo gasket already.

the $500 stealth intercooler is no good for the amount of power I want to make it's more suited for a mildly modded r32 - swaps gonna happen with my 32 I think.

Police think i'm a drug dealer (guess that stops em from thinking I'm a hoon eh)

some other stuff I can't think of at the moment.

really?? that seems a bit wierd. any intercooler should be up to the job of holding 200 i thought.

why the drug dealer reference? been pulled up a few times and searched? maybe it was a dealers car...thats why he sold it. too much bacon...lol

The car is a fresh import I didn't think I looked like a dealer wonder what they'd think if I was bald I was already stopped and parked after taking it for a test run and answering a phone call from work when they came racing in and parked the car across the road in front of me and told me they were stopping me for a random breath test and played drug quiz with me, Bosses missus is a cop at dbay mentioned her and they were sweet when they saw I worked for unity. - Side note everyone knows Morayfield drug dealers drive commodores

At 5500 rpm it starts to have issues with passing the boost through because it's a return feed intercooler I need a straight through to improve flow.

turbo gasket isn't gone after removing the heat shield I have discovered that the turbo manifold is missing a nut gonna call RPM tomorrow and ask if he was aware of it.

Any luck with the missing bolt drama??

I have my own now, took my partners car in for a service, ends up it needs brakes, tyres, timing belt. Told the guy if he wanted to take my dog as well! Bah ther goes my fmic:(. I can do brakes and tyres myself. But the belt is still 645$ :/

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
