well that was an eventful day. never before have i physically felt ill seeing such a low speed crash. i know the car will be back in action in no time. Feel terrible for all involved. mostly as the new brembos still havent been used properly.

well they say a picture tells a thousand words. much love for heslo, car and driver. also kristian, genuinely feel for you, not something anyone expected

Damn, that sucks the big one Luke. Glad Kristian is okay, and as many people have said, it could have been alot worse for both of you. I have a plastic recirculation pipe (that runs behind the cooler) here you can have for nix if you need it. Unfortunately, alot of the parts you will need, I sold a short time ago :( But like I said, I'm pretty sure a mate has a 33R half cut, which you might be able to get a few things off locally if you need to. I'm more than happy to give you a hand re-assembling things if you do the work yourself too. (been there, done that - AKA drift prac september last year...) Goodluck!

Martin: its unfair to generalise drifters for wrecking the track... the burnout guys are just as bad or worse... some of the time attack guys have much to blame also.... we pay money to use the track just like anyone else. so how about leaving the drifter bashing out of this thread thanks. last time i checked it had nothing to do with drift ;)

lol in fairness I was given fair warning that they'd be coming...I knew I should've taken that sticker back! haha

Josh I was well into third gear, so I'm not sure it qualified as a low speed crash, although it felt like I was watching that wall come towards me for about 5 minutes before I actually connected with it!

Nige cheers for the offer, yeah we will probably chase your mate up for some of the factory parts, although Luke loves his brand names, bloody big spender haha

Guys keep the other drifter/racer stuff out of here please, in spite of what I said before about the oil stuff (and Simon P came mighty close to joining me in the same spot on the following lap apparently), I'm happy to put this one down to the klutz behind the wheel. Live and learn!

Don't worry. It looked like 5 mins from the hill. Felt like you were sliding towards the wall for ages. But yes, Luke tends to be a bit of a brand whore, should have delayed the v35, could have packed front end parts in it :-)

Just searched through 100 auction pages but not much to find :(

Lights your looking at 17-1800del

Brand new Shift sports bonnet Around 1300 + ship

Sent Luke to a HKS intercooler (100mm) for 40,000yen

Front indicators 5,000yen

Damn and I was about to put up an oil related meme thing one :P

^^ Sakai's my favourite too Whiplash!

The silly thing is Simon, I reckon if the grass was dry I would've pulled up before the wall and driven away again. If there was anything I could've done to prevent it from hitting the wall then I would be seriously kicking myself, but short of not getting out on the track in the first place, there was no way I could've avoided it once I'd lost grip.

Luke (ENR34) I spotted that HKS one too, Heslo and I are already exchanging emails, in a bizarre way it's kinda fun going shopping lol

Vu  Damn drift racers...

    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
    • Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
