Can you bring a few forms. Im going to try to talk a few into joining. Do we got commission? Ha Ha

No commission sorry :P But you can be satisfied with the knowledge that there will be more Stagea owners in the club ;) Would love to see a handful of Stageas at the next club track day.

I'll bring a few forms, membership cards, club stickers ($5 each) and whatever else I feel like :D

Ummm.. can I buy a sticker even though I'm not a member? (yet):whistling:

Hope this weather clears up by Sunday, got a slightly extended route in mind if it looks like it is. Should be a fairly casual drive so even if its crappy weather it should be a good cruise anyway

Can do. I'll bring a few with me

I'll bring a form with me on the sunday if you want to bring the membership payment. I'll have a blank membership card to fill out for you too.

:thanks: Ruby

Could anyone kindly tell me how much the payment is too?

Yeah sure man, do you think you could try pm me them please?

Still in the process of trying to come up with the registration money for my stagea since ive recently moved interstate, if i dont end up making this cruise ill be down for the next one and most likely will make the transfer regardless if i dont make it there.

Just need a way to get these papers to fill out

Have mine now, thanks Ruby! Still want a sticker though!

Looks like I'm about 50/50 to have a car but I'll come anyway and bring the cameras if I can just grab lifts with someone, or even swap around?

I think Billy was offering to let me drive... someone has to drive it properly :P

Im happy to have a stint with you in my car then I can show you the dash.

Awesome, cheers Brad. Don't worry, I'll be doing the conversion, it's a matter of when not if! Trying to finalise what I'm doing and ordering the bits, think its probably easier to do the whole thing (TV tuner, translation, stereo and iPod dock) in one go.

I'm going to be at Bunnings at about 9am. I have now ran out of time to clean the car tonight so hopefully there might be a few Stags doing the same. P.S. Hope my punctuation is ok Ryan! I read your other post.

lol all good Brad. I don't mind too much on forums, but ffs... why pick on a self confessed noob about spelling and not practise what you preach? >_<

Oh yeah, looks like I'm not going to need the lift, Andrew thinks he won't be done till 5-6 at this rate. Has to polish it! But I'll still need a lift on the cruise. I'm bringing two in car cameras and my 7D, which takes photos or HD video. I'll bring the laptop too, so if anyone else is filming I'll try and steal your footage. You've been warned.

$45 total, which includes a once off $15 admin fee and yearly $30 membership fee.

I have the club bank details if you wish to bank transfer.

Have printed the membership form off...will give it to you and the $$ at the Parafield meet point

"the OLD peeps"

Sweet. Too easy Mark.

I've fixed my stag problem ... if any of you had followed the wasteland thread. It appears my brand new Bosch Z32 AFM died at only 400kms old. >_< Found a replacement to borrow until I get an exchange, so I'll still be there tomorrow.

Sorry I had to bail early guys. With a temporary AFM the stagea was running rough at times, when we left I consulted my air/fuel gauge and it was reading that I was running quite lean ... so best to bail and save my motor. I wasn't coming all the way anyway. Sorry.

To those who didn't/couldn't catch me about membership/stickers ... PM me and I'll help you out with that.

Hope the rest of the cruise was fun and uneventful.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
