yeah....I thought it must have been a shop owner.....don't think there was any chance of identifying any of the cars from that distance though. I'd say that sorta thing happens there quite a bit and he's gathering evidence to take to the cops so he can say "look what we have to put up with", and try and get a police presence down there on certain nights.

That's my theory anyway...could be complete crap......I have been known to come up with some pretty far fetched conspiracy theories :(

the GC crew were there first before us so naturally, i turned in. *give you a cough drop.

SIF! The GC Crew (all 3 of us) were following some of the Brissy Boys from Logan Rd...

Props to the performers... I don't think much will come of the happy snaps... They were only stills anyway... What was with the Barina / Swift??

my bad. i saw some skylines turning into the carpark and i assumed it was you guys who got there first. i was leading the guys from milton maccas.

its was a good night. thanks to everyone who showed up. pity the rain but it did provide some form of hooning at the last stage :(

I think last night worked pretty damn well considering the rain, traffic, and other things. I don't think much else could have been done better, and the radios i think helped those that had them. Brisbane isn't the best for cruising I don't think, but its possible. Maybe North Brisbane is a possibility next time?

"Extra-curricula" activities in the carpark was kind of fun.. gotta love "secret flash guy". He's going to love looking at a set of blury photos with possibly a few red smears in there :)

ska: Trying to do a u-ie up a bit further to follow you guys and have a little fun. But ended losing you all, so just continued crusing back home.

I was a little reluctant to go out in the rain last night, but in the end I was well pleased I did. Also if the brissie guys remember the little group with the exa's and the 300zx at milton maccas, one of the exa's beached their car over a gutter at about 11:45 and I can only assume it was undriveable as when I drove past it for the third time there was a tow truck. It was at the end of the centenary freeway just before the first raoundabout at toowong.

hahaha, u saw that 2 charly, yeah i thought that was amusing, the guy in the 300 went to school with me, i used to drive him in his car to school before he got his licence, personally though i think hes a ****. Car park activities were mad fun, skid pan tomorrow!!! YAY!!!

I followed slip, thought he would be the one to follow to the shenanigans, and all three of us missed the turn, caught up to pred, but after we did the u-bolt we did a spirited dash for the highway and causght up to Mud along the highway northbound, so I am not surprised you didnt catch us, but you didnt miss much, some nice performances from the sephiro (spelling?) and of course slip :) all in all I thought for such a big group going through so many sets of lights to all stick together AWESOME waiting for the next one, so who's doing the next one?

yes indeedy....the last couple of weeks the following weeks cruise has already been posted before I get home.

You might have to take the reins strutto........being the fearless leader and hero that you are:D......or are you too hoity toity now that you're a mod:p

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
