yeah steve @ racetech has a good reputation.

ash hobson at hackham classic perfomance dyno (chapman road, behind cottage lane) is good with skylines too, loads of good results, but probably not that cheap - drop in and ask for a price.

Jenna, Adelaide Turbo Services can make you up a GT30-based turbo with stock (fully ported) front/rear housings. Get a price from Bill Keen.

Andrew - with the SAFCII I would suggest to also add in an apexi SITC, so you can tune the air:fuel ratio along with ignition timing. Well worth it IMO.

Highly recommended :)

Willall is the go for all your tuning needs - no Disney dyno crap there - just no frills tuning that simply works. On a related topic - big thanks to Martin for tuning the tow rig, an excellent result!

Jaustech at Holden hill are great if you're near that area. Anthony has done most of the work on my car and he definitely knows what he's on about, just have a look at his cefiro. Plus they're great blokes too

That's about what I get in my dead stock R33 GTS-T. In regular commuting traffic my fuel economy hovers around 10.5 to 11 ltr/100km, on whatever the pump 98 RON is I get. And that's with a mighty 128rwkW ;D

My economy is with it at 270rwkw, I actually got about another 50-70 k's per week by changing to a bigger turbo due to rarely being on boost

touch ur toes at ash'es but gets results

^^^ DOH! How many hours had he owned it when he did that?

2 and a half days. Might be a write off, a pillar is moved and floor is creased.

Supposedly he was just putting around and got t boned.

Considering I've already had 3-4 concerned phone calls from people asking if it was stolen recently, the young lad has been driving it hard.

So I doubt it wasn't partly his fault.

Steve Knight racetech in Lonsdale.

Has an AWD dyno too for any GTR owners down that way.

Def my pick for down south....more so for mechanical work than tuning........Troy, he'll be fine for your clutch change-over and belt replacement

ahhh, Martin told me he was going to tune the ZF in your Disco.......how have you found it compared to its previous tune and what gains did you make?

We gained 30+awkw to end up with 175awkw and more importantly gained 100% more torque - I'll default to Martin to share the results from the dyno........

As you know they are already quite grunty for a 4WD, but even more so now and it drives very nicely. Fuel economy should increase now too - test underway currently as I compare the usage on the current tank load.

thanks bud.....I completed a long trip with my Disco pulling a 3 tonne van and it did it every bit as easy as the LC200 which has an extra 1.5 litres and an extra 2 cyls

Sequential turbo setup is what I'm putting it too (with the small primary and bigger secondary).....the new 3.0L is an awesome engine too......and doesn't burn oil like the LC200 either, LOL

Where is the meet point, and what time, matty? Maybe for me - got the kids, and me & the youngest have a bad cold.

Having said that, we're off in a moment to see Adelaide United vs Gold Coast with a mate.... my children havent been to a live sports match in a number of years (youngest was in a pram last time we went to a sanfl match) so it should be a good night, both kidlings are soccer players & are looking forward to it.

come to the T20 big bash on sunday brendan. even though i pretty much hate that form of cricket, i go just for the atmosphere, especially seeing as the redbacks win one every now and then

    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
