Power/overdrive Functions

Hey guys,

Noob question incoming.

In my auto r33 there's a snow/power button and also on the shifter a overdrive button.. what are there function and should i be driving around with the OD light off or on.. just for normal everyday driving.. just heard somewhere one function is for towing or something and isn't recommended driving around active??

In general leave the overdrive on. When you kick down it changes out automatically. The snow/ power button changes the change points. In snow mode it takes off in second. In power it hangs on longer in each gear.
