Finally got to see my baby! Bit dirty but that was expected after sitting in Japan for 3 months and time on the docks. Found small scratches that need cut & polish, rusty bonnet hinge, a bit too low, missng front bar clip and loose grille but otherwise really nice interior and exterior! Now just waiting for mechanical inspection and bloody Regency...they sure do take their time with paperwork!

Can't wait to have her on the streets of Adelaide!!!

It's an 89 BNR32 running cost so far $21K...

Extras that I need:

No compliance yet probably $1.1K

Registration and stampduty ~$1.2K

Tyres...$1.2K

Any maintainence done as well but it "sounds" fine from my mechanicaly non-inclined ear :D

nice car ecenshu. Ahh so that r32gtr i saw at pvp import was yours. Looks very nice and mean, didnt have a close look but was definately low. I was there as my gf had her car serviced. Also so a very nice silver gtr of the same variant sitting in the back of the workshop.

    • I used to do that, but then I got savvy. The benefits of having your phone photos geotagged outweigh the negatives. I just don't publish any photo straight off the phone/out of the gallery/off google photos, etc. If I'm going to use a photo, other than for SMSing to fam, I will always open it on the computer, copy it/otherwise edit it and save down without the original metadata, before using it. For example, posting photos of my engine bay into a thread on here, to show someone a plug or something - I will just screen-cap the section I want to use and paste that section direct from the clipboard into the post. No metadata goes along with.
    • Yes, so it won't work for places with no photos on the net. I would have said that there are no photos of the inside of my house on the net, but....then I realised that my kids' parties would have had bazzillions of photos of the living spaces, kitchen etc put on insta and other shitmedia. So... you can see how insidious it is.
    • Whomever is stalking me will need to deal with a few of these, so my safety is "assured"
    • It's not any meta data. They have scraped images from everywhere, and then use AI to compare your photo to other photos and work out where you are.
    • I just looked at my camera phone settings, apparently I have "not allowed" for location  Will that stop that app?
