ARTZ
if you want best handling stick to +35 front +38 rear..if you just want it to look sexy better with something like +30 front +22 rear will need some guard rolling, if you want the wide look go +15 front +10 rear but will need guards pumped slightly if its low..if you want awesome talk to blags.. they actually have sets on ebay with offsests designed for nissans..but this is a rough guide.. 89CAL
What tyre width do you want? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5910948 Share on other sites
Shannond
thanks arthur, i have adjustable height coilovers so if its to low i can adjust it up abit so it fits, i use my car for drifting but at the same time it is a pretty clean drift car as its my daily car. which offset do u recommend best for drifting? 89CAL: not sure what tyre width i want as im not to sure much about this offset stuff Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5911142 Share on other sites
ARTZ
if your drifting stick with 235/45s they are most popular so cheap..you can get brand new ferals this size for 100$ on ebay even..im thinking either 8 or 9 inch alround with an offset between +30 and +10 depending how much guard work you want to do..keep em the same size front and back and you can swap em around if you need too but 33 skylines do look heaps better with fats on the rear..costs more $$$ but..also offsets can also be dependant on your camber, Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5911908 Share on other sites
Shannond
i most likely wont be swappign them around cause ill buy good tyres for the front so i dont get any understeer or anything in the wet, yeah i most likely will get fats on the rear though. what do you think of the specs on these ones? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LENSO-D1R-Drift-Wheels-17-x-9-17-17-x-10-15-Nissan-/190536351157?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5cd9fdb5 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5912031 Share on other sites

89CAL
Ive got 18" D1R's on mine. 8" front +35. 9.5" +38 rear. Wheel width is important in relation to offset Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5913203 Share on other sites
Birds
I'm running 18x9+32 hyper silver all round on my R33 GTS-T. They look fantastic IMO, although I would change the rears to 9.5 if I could...but can't source them in Australia...not in that size, colour and offset. Don't know how you got them for the rears Callan? I'm thinking about putting a 5mm spacer on the rears just to bring them out a little bit...then it'll be perfect. P.S. reason it's not mega low is that I've had the springs corner weighted for good handling...plus I got sick of scraping my front bar on everything. 89CAL
ah sorry i was the wrong way around 8.5 front 9.0 rears Same offsets as I said though. Was thinking of my old wheels being 9.5 rear lol..... They sit really nice, very happy with them Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5913786 Share on other sites
Shannond
whats a good size with no gaurd rolling because i have bog on one side so it will all most likely crack Edited July 14, 2011 by Shannond Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5914022 Share on other sites
Birds
What Callan has should require no rolling. It all depends on your ride height. My 9" all round was scraping at the front, but only when turning sharp and when going over bumps around corners. My vehicle is lowered. Birds
Get 17x8.5+32 and 17x9+32, run 225 up front and 235 up back, then you'll be fine. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5914208 Share on other sites
ARTZ
yeah i got 8 inch front 9 inch rear both +38 235s and 255s and there is plenty of room with no guard rolling.. i thought yours looked wider offset birds i guess my memory has failed me yet again.... Shannond
the guy said "The mattblack only comes in 17 x 9 +17 and 17 x 10 +15. Have you considered running 17 x 9 +17 all around?" would these need any guard rolling? this is how low my car is sitting Edited July 15, 2011 by Shannond Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5915106 Share on other sites
ARTZ
yes mate..pretty much anything under +30 will require rolling and will draw alot of attention from the fuzz as well Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/370793-lenso-d1-17/#findComment-5915397 Share on other sites
