Jay, you can get cams licence on the day. I can't remember exactly how much it is. Its like $110 I think

Piece of piss, looks like I'll be going along then. Need to spend some time under the car as the rear is feeling a little loose, but should be good :)

And Veeto, I'd lend you mine if I wasn't using it, but.. yeah.. I am :P surely someone has one banging around?

See you lads there, looking for interim points whilst the real car is being repaired...... but will still be some serious competition.

Hopefully this time I might best you! Too bad we won't be in the same class anymore :(

Sunday 7 August - Summary

Min 4

Max 10

Shower or two.

Cloudy. Isolated showers. Winds southerly averaging 10 to 20 km/h.

If the track is patchy wet I'm going to be shitting myself... I don't mind the idea of completely wet but that's only because I will probably cruise around at 40kmph.. Perhaps my stock boat will do okay in the wet?

Dropping in my money today, will see how it goes :)

Your driving style is so silky smooth Jay I wouldn't worry about getting loose. thumbsup.gif

My exuberant driving style on the other hand... I may actually spend more time sideways than not.

gahaha, silky smooth at 40kmph is easy mate ;) I was thinking of getting a rug for the back window and a driving hat...

Hopefully this time I might best you! Too bad we won't be in the same class anymore :(

Bring on the rain I say!..By the end of the day you might be wishing you didn't leave AWD class :P

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
