Queensland Nistune installers here:

You don't need a 4wd dyno. If its a 2wd just drop your front driveshaft and pull the fuse.

most tuners are busy people - just use the phone.

I understand they are busy. I emailed as I was after a price before I booked it. In the past I've had one of my other cars at 3 different dynos and I paid for them to tell me sorry we can't tune haltech ecus ( 2 of them were haltech dealers ). I tried to contact almost all of those on the nistune website.

you don`t need to do this ,Series2 not S1

I think I'm going to have to give efi a call, every one recommends them, is it possible to make up a cover plate to go over the drive shaft hole? Or is it like a rear gear box type hole that oil will pour out? Also 250kw/335hp will 450cc injectors be big enough?

what don`t you understand  here,

YOU HAVE A SERIES 2 Stagea you don`t need to pull the DRIVE SHAFT,FACT

if you read what BUBBA said on this

but i guess were waisting are time telling you this info :stupid: as you FAIL to read what your being told here pinch.gif

Dude...just get them to pull the shaft...and then put it back in after :) DON"T just do the lock it in rear wheel trick by pulling the plug etc. There are bad stories about people doing that and the system malfunctioning n engaging the front wheels. and then...well I think u can work out the rest :/

Chuckie. This is why, I do use that technique sometimes for fun but I have heard of a guy loosing his legs and it's not worth the risk, and also it doesn't always work on my car.

How do you MEAN doesn`t work all the TIME

we have had 5 S2 stagea on 2 wheel Dyno with no worries at all.

if its not working then i would get it sorted save you lots of hassle,

You can enjoy REAR WHEEL DRIVE in flick of switch & 5 pumps of brake Pedal :bunny::rofl:

Yer and as I said I do use that method some times. But it doesn't always work, my car doesn't always know the plug is disconnected. I know it doesnt always know because it doesn't lock into 4wd when u unplug it and just drive without pumping the brake pedal and the light doesn't come on.

Neither does my rs4s, unplugged with no pumps is the bleed mode for the atessa

I was also backing you up chuckie

It's just weird, I have 3 common situations with this diagnostic.

- unplug/start/pump light flashes and works in rwd

- unplug/start/pump nothing happens, no 4wd light or awd lock

-unplug/start/pump light stays on and locks awd

I can even park it in rwd, then when I get back in it won't work when you start the car again, mayb the car doesnt see the brake pedal signal :/

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
