Had my 34 on the dyno at SST today in Perth (tuning courtesy of maestro Ant), fitted a Power FC and got 287 RWKW = 385 RWHP with

* stock engine

stock Fuel system

stock Turbos

* 1.1 bar Boost

* Power FC

* full Blitz exhaust

* pod air filters

* Trust Intercooler

* No other mods

The power curve is Bullshit, like out of a text book heaps of Torque (Steve can you post dyno graph into this thread?).

Injectors read (on 34TV screen) 98.4% of max !!! So an upgrade of fuel system is around the corner as is New Tyres and twin plate clutch (still standard at the moment).

If you are in Perth and want your car tuned go and see Ant or Steve at SST's, if you can get in to see them it will be well worth your time and money. If anyone can post the chart send me your email address and I will foward it to you to post.

Jeremy

Congrate on the 287rwkw..

Any Dyno graph?

That's very interesting result,consider most people have the similar mods only get about 210~220 rwkw..

******************

stock engine

stock fuel system

stock turbo @ 1.1 bar

Power FC

full Blitz exhaust

pod air filters

Trust Intercooler

No other mods

I did do a search, you seems the only one could get that power out of stock turbo, don't get me wrong, I just try to figure out what did my mechanic went wrong on my mods while I still have my stock turbo

One of forum member has 2835ProS only get about 280rwkw....

thats a good powerfigure for 1.1bar of boost.. but dont forget you have a PFC .. so it sounds about right but still at the top :( ..

atm i have my R34 GT-R with some mods.. you must uprade the fuel system on a GTR after its been modifed.

planning on 330kw at wheels

PFC Pro

HKS Intercooler

Cam Gears - HKS ADjustable

HKS Priest Exhaust : The whole damn way :D

Trust Air Filters

1.3Bar

Nismo Injectors 660HP ?

Nismo Fuel Pump 600-700HP ?

Twin plate clutch HKS .

i had 291KW with the same setup on yours.. with 1.11bar ;)

R33/R34 GT-Rs are so easy to get power out of with standard parts.

Jeremy, That's a very nice car you have there, and I loved the flames that you were shooting out on the dyno. Get the twin-plate in and bring it to Drag Combat, can't wait to see what the stock turbs can do the 1/4 in:D

Jeremy, Your not trying hard enough, lend me the car and you can follow behind to see if the flames come out;)

Yes it was done in shootout mode, and if Jezzrrr get's the graph up then all the details will be on the chart.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
