Hey guys,

I just ordered my flywheel and clutch. I even ordered some 660cc RC engineering injectors for my big turbo setup

The problem is that I cant justify spending over 1000 dollars on an exhaust manifold for my big turbo setup. I am going to get a gt3582r and the manifold needs to fit a lest hand drive 240sx. There are a few, cx racing has one that looks DECENT but it only can take a 38mm waste gate. I don't want the boost creep BS and would rather do it right once. STEC in japan had some good manifolds with good reviews for 500$ with 50mm waste gates, and the reviews were good. Their site is no longer up...

Long story short I have been staring at the computer for four hours to no avail.

any input on this matter would be very very appreciated. any used manifolds from people parting out rb25s would be too. I'm more than willing to get the right piece shipped to the U.S.

Thanks, John

go the $1000 manifold, if you get something cheap it will crack and cause you problems which either means you spend the same money getting someone to fix it in the end.

the good designs from the $1000 manifolds also help turbo response, but at the end of the day if you are the type that thinks ebay parts are great and worth the money there is nothing we can say to make you think otherwise.

pick two.

+1, dont do a half arse job! A proper steam pipe manifold will last forever. The cheaper ones crack, and before you know it, you'll be taking it off to weld up all the cracks.

He is US, so it would be a bit more + delivery.

So closer to 1400-1500... But that's what you have to pay for a decent manifold.

A turbo capable of 370rwkw+ = need good supporting mods. A cheap manifold/gate setup is not one.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
