Or just for laughs, find the part number for the Nismo Z-Tune front bar, call up your local Nissan dealer and see if they can order it in for you.

They will either be thinking "WTF?!" is a Nismo Z-Tune front bar..?

Or they would list you a price and you'd be "WTF?!" I am not paying that!

Some Nissan products are actually good in price as I have bought a few parts from them.

That's is a lot for a front bar.

But you'd expect it, if it being a genuine Nismo Z-Tune Front Bar.

+ you have to paint it the colour to match your car.

Unless you buy copies and hope it all aligns and fits correctly, cause if it doesn't then you gotta spend the cash modifying it to fit.

Or at least find a company that makes good copies of it.

But if you can justify it, then go for it.

got quoted over 800 for a front bar in fibreglass is that way to much?

Sounds ok if it's a Nismo Z-Tune...

I am only familiar with R32 GTR Front Bars and I was told the prices go anywhere from $400 - $700 (Non Nismo, I think?)

The Average price for a Nismo R32 GTR Front Bar is around the $550 mark, 2nd hand.

Either way, $800+ for a copy Nismo Z-Tune Front Bar sounds better then $2500 genuine, when you cannot justify the genuine price.

+ You will need to paint it as well.

As long as the fitting is good then go for it.

yeh i didnt include shipping from syd to melb. im going ahead with the transaction hope fitment isnt to bad. i know it will need a bit (the main reason im doing the front bar is it sits higher than standard vspec bar so i can lower it more hehe) i might put up some pics :)

cheers

hey mate, this reply might be a bit late in coming .. but in my experience (and it has been suggested by others in the past i think) if you're going fiberglass, it may be a good idea to get the parts from the guy who will be fitting them, leaving them with the hassle of fitment, and someone to go and see if fitment problems start to show after. (in my case the sideskirts on the drivers side door werent fitted very well and has lost a fair bit of its paint from the door opening/closing - not too sure if i explained that too well)

anyway all the best with the bodykit!

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
