You can pick up a VQ25DET on YAJ for ~$2k, might be worth shooting Jesse or IM an email. Hell, theres on on there for 50k Yen - who knows on what condition its in. Having said all that, I also have nfi what shipping prices/times are like. Definitely an avenue worth chasing when $4.7k is the alternative.

The guy is just going to pull the motor apart, hasn't put a hole through the block I think it just blew the rings valves and maybe cracked the pistons Scott said he'd help out with parts so it's not a big worry. Just if there was an engine floating around for cheap it would be easier
