Hello,

I have noticed the Car "GOLGO" R33 GT-R Midnight Purple in colour is really weak.

It ran 13.3 Down calder a long time ago.. and now on the Dyno only powering 180KW!!! .. i just wanna know is this normal or totaly stuffed up ?

thanks mate

Golgo is tuned to blow flames out the exhaust. :D

dave : i wasnt being a dhead.. i just wanted to know what modifications he had.. as in Exhaust and stuff.. most GT-R's pull just under 200 KW with a full exhaust.. GOLGO was just not all so good for the crown.. even James went red after he saw the results..

Thanks dAve :D

if its stock theres nothing wrong with 13.3, thats all mine did stock, but that was a 8000rpm launch too and not everyone likes to launch it at redline, 180kw at the wheels prob sounds about right too?

13.3 is about avg. for a soft launch and avg. reaction/60ft times.

Something well into the 12's is possible.

180awkW is also avg. for a stockish RB26.

T.

golgo isn't designed to be a rocket, just a nice machine all round, as I'm sure James would agree :D

With 200rwkw a low 13 or high 12sec bracket is about average for a 33GTR. Its the ATTESSA that makes it grip nicely and get the better times than the 33GTS-T

There is nothing wrong with GOLGO. Golgo is a stock R33 GTR with exhaust and that's it. The car's O2 sensors are pretty far gone and hence it is running rich and therefore makes a better flame thrower than a race car. The 13.3 was done with a slipping clutch so it is capable of doing a high 12 which is right for a stock GTR.

The 180awkw is an accurate figure of what the car should be making with the limited mods and tuning.

It is going to be worked on by ICE in the near future so things should pick up soon

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
