hey victor, can other skylines join as well???

Of course, Shiva. This is an unofficial cruise to SCC for us. Plus, it's charity event so it's for good cause.

As long as it's a Skyline or Nissan with RB engine, we wouldn't have problem. Other than that, it's better we ask in the other thread on SAUQLD.

Hi everyone,

A reminder for this event coming Sunday 20th.

Due to lack of number at Marsden meet point, we will just meet straight at Springwood McDonald's.

Please don't be late as we will leave at 8:30am sharp. I will be there around 8am.

Please also note I might not have maps written for this. As I haven't been to Aspley Hypermarket myself, I will be using my GPS.

hypermarket is easy. you made it to chermside - keep coming - it is another 3 km up the road. look for my subaru or the van. I'm still unsure on which I am driving.

Yeah, it should be easy then. Then I will see you there, Chris. :)

Make sure you guys bring some $$ along too....there should be raffles, auctions etc like previous years...

Chris will probably have some goodies up for grabs too.

yep I do!

Great. Looks like it will be a fun day out with the cars. :)

Unfortunately I won't be there as my job has run over schedule and I won't be heading back to Brisbane until the following weekenddown.gif. Amanda won't be coming along either as she is on annual leave and will be catching up with some of her girlfriends. Really bummed to be missing this event as I have been going for the last 3 years and its a great day.

Will be heading out, but will be at meeting at the hyper-hole. I live halfway between Aspley and Dakabin (grew up a stones throw away from Lakeside), should be a good day.

Yin Sun is not coming as his car is to dirty..... Hope no one looks to close at my family hack then.

Aww, sorry that you are missing out, Andrew. Hope to catch up with you guys at the next event.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
