Have some goodies that have come out of the GTR for sale. All in full working order, just selling due to upgrades. Some pics included, will take more during the week. Will post at buyer's expense but would prefer pickup esp for the bigger items.

1. HKS EVC 4 Boost Controller (This is sometimes listed as an EVC 5 in the US). Good used condition, $400 SOLD

2. HKS CAMs - Step 2, 264 in, 272 ex (Note, these are not drop ins, need upgraded valve springs) Perfect condition, $600 SOLD

3. Standard R32 GTR intercooler $100 SOLD

4. HKS Upgraded Actuators. These came off my HKS GTRS turbos and did hardly any k's. I believe that they have an adjustment of boost level 0.8 to 1.1 bar or thereabouts - $250 SOLD

5. 18 x 9.5" Sparco wheels with rubber +23 up front for caliper clearance and +22 with bigger dish up back. Purchased from Import Monster to be my track wheels and had them on my car for about 5 minutes before finding out they didn't clear my front brakes $1000 $650 (Link on Import Monster http://www.importmon...roducts_id=1087) SOLD

6. 17 x 9" White sparcos (will go out and check offset later when I get pics) but a lot of you have seen them on my GTR. I love these wheels (and it pains me to sell them!) but they also don't clear my brakes. Restored and resprayed white, all good condition except for some gutter rash on one where I had a retarded parking moment - very easily repaired. No rubber on these... $750

7. Pair of R32 GTR standard Sumitomo front calipers. Good condition for their age, have pads with reasonable amount left on them (unsure what the pads are). $200 SOLD

8. Twin HKS GT-RS turbos packaged with upgraded Garrett actuators (were $400), Tomei dump pipes and Tomei manifolds $4000 ono. Whatever gaskets and bolts are left will be thrown in. All in fabulous condition, selling because I've finally bitten the bullet and gone for a big single.

For all those that are asking, the cams are being sold because I was looking for more power. They saw me happily to 400kw and sounded amazing in the car, I loved the lumpy idle from the different stages.

Will be adding a few more items to the list in coming weeks including a Trust 115mm frontmount, HKS fuel rail and HKS 800cc injectors.

My garage is getting too full, buy my stuffs!!! :)

How much rubber is left on the 18's? I imagine you're running a decent brake setup for the power you've got, so biiiig calipers?? I might upgrade brakes in the future but won't be chasing the power you are so won't need anything so monstrous... would the 17's and 18's your selling both clear a brembo setup? I don't know if they're bigger than standard ones anyway. I was looking for R33 GTR wheels (coz they're light and forged) for around $750 but one of your sets could do the trick. And how long were you running the boost controller? Thanks

Heaps of rubber left, I can take some pics for you. Yeah I have the AP big brake upgrade on the fronts... Reminds me I should name a price for my stocky calipers and put them up here!

You're welcome to test fit, I'm pretty sure that both sets of wheels would clear the brembo setup, there really was only a bees dick in it with both sets not fitting over mine.

I was running the boost controller for about 6 months and someone else had it in their car for similar amount of time before I bought it.

Here's some closeups of each of the tyres. There's some minor camber wear and a small amount of cracking - cracking was there when I bought them and hasn't worsened. Make sure you check up the closeups on the import monster add, shows the gutter rash that's on the wheels. They're by no means perfect, I was intending on having them sanded back and powdercoated.

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
    • I haven’t yet cut the chassis, maybe I switch to a reverse flow. I’ve got the Intercooler mounted as I already had it but not cut yet. Might have to speak to an engineer
    • Yes that’s another issue, I always have a front mount, plus will be turbo plus intake will big hasstle. I’ve been told if it looks stock they’re fine with it by a couple others who have done it ahahaha.    I know @Kinkstaah said the stock gtt airbox is limiting but I might just have to do that to avoid a defect so it atleast looks legit. Or an enclosed pod so it’s hidden away and feed air from the snorkel and below Intercooler holes like kinstaah mentioned. Hmm what to do
