Speaking of clamps where do you get some decent intercooler piping clamps?

I just use standard Norma style worm clamps. If youre pipes are blowing off it means there are other issues, not enough ridge to stop them poping off or oil on the rubber?

Mine holds over 40psi when hot with no issues now.

Nice meeting everyone, Sorry to have ditched after we got to the final bbq area, We didnt bring any meat or anything, was working on the sil til 2am the previous night. So we decided to go back in to town to get some food and planned to come back, But my mates were bitching so we went home!

Anyone else full on scraping like f**k on the last set of twisties before the end point?

Scotty - We were spewing we didnt get to see you gun it in your car, we were at the back of the pack and because I had no idea where we were going didnt want to get in to a different lane to catch up! shattered, Id expect world war 3 to happen when you put your foot down eh?!!!

My favorite cars of the day was the silver m35, with the big grill and arx over fenders. The whole care from top to bottom is just did right!

And the 260rs with the exhausts coming through the rear bar! Such styling on that thing!.. Did you buy it like that?

Nah i dont have problems with my pipes coming off, but some of the clamps are twisting and looking a little worse for wear. They still hold really well but i'd like to know where i can get some replacements, just cos i like having things immac. :-D

That silver M35 was real mint, clean and just real pretty. My 260Rs exhaust through the bar was part of the package. I bought the car like that, you just cant stand too close to it cos they stick out so far that you'll burn your shin on it. LOL I fell in love with the kit the moment i saw it. :-P

I absolutley love the rims and the ride height on your car, even the sparks out the ass end when you bottomed out was great to see. LOL Its a shame i missed out on getting some nice pics of it.

Thanks for the compliments bLaQ.bOi! It's an M35 Axis Autech, hence it all come like that from factory.

I too loved the ride height of your M35 and rims! Looks a treat! BUT I must admit, driving behind you at time I thought you were going to bottom out or shred your rear tyres on the wheel arche lips, just a bit more camber I reckon.

Thanks THRLLR! I must say, your 260RS is one mean and awesome looking family wagon > twin turbo, gtr drive train, manual, recaro seats, fully optioned, etc.... Now thats a family coon with attitude!

    • Thanks mate, couldn't find in VIC, ended up ordering one from NSW, getting rwc to get new plates and registration done.
    • Before all the EFR fan boys come in, have a look at: https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-ii-g30-825-58mm/ It also comes in a T4 1.06 divided housing. I would dare say if you want response & also decent power, this thing would chop.   AND apologies, just re-read your post, you've already bought the turbo... whatever you do, make sure you stick with divided housing and proper twin scroll manifold.
    • People have got to stop doing that. ShatGPT is not a search engine. It is a hallucination factory.   I also would recommend the 1.05. The .83 will "work" for you , in that it will be more responsive, but I think you'll find that it won't be anywhere near as good running it out to 8000rpm as the big housing will be.
    • Decided for the first time ever I would tow my car TO the track day on the same working theory as bringing tools and spares "if I have it I wont need it, but if I leave it behind i will 100% need it" all setup and ready to go out and try these A050 for the first time First session showed I needed to stiffen up the dampers a touch but still managed a few 1:21's without much effort. things were looking good. Came in a dropped the tyres down  to 26/28 as they had gotten to 35/33C from 22C cold The first lap of session two I managed to drop into 1:20's. Then in the second lap into the second session. Coming into T3 and I suddenly lost brake pedal followed by some huge rear end vibrations and scraping sounds. Got it back into the pits after session ended and found this. in the attached video, all of the wobble is in the hub its self, wheel is mint, and bearing feels tight. lKXLqpd - Imgur.mp4   Deciding it was a bent spindle I tried to find bearing/hub assembly locally but was unsuccessful so it was loaded back onto the trailer i luckily brought it on to drag it back home
