As per interest in the Stagea Discussion section, I'm running a group buy on SuperPro suspension bushes which suit both M35 Stageas and V35 Skylines.

Parts that are available are:

Strut Bar To Chassis Mount Kit - SPF2849K - $146 - http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=SPF2849K

Control Arm Upper-Inner Eccentric Kit - SPF3297K - $152 - http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=SPF3297K

Control Arm Lower-Inner Bushing - SPF3298K - $83 - http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=SPF3298K

All bushes are being supplied direct from SuperPro.

Group buy will run for two weeks from today (23/1/2012) until 6/2/2012. Minimum order is 5 to proceed.

After the group buy closes, allow two weeks to arrive in Adelaide.

Parts can either be collected for those in Adelaide or posted at your expense. For those being posted, I'll post Express Post, flat rate $12.55.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks,

Ryan

Yep put me down for Control Arm Lower-Inner Bushing - SPF3298K - $83 - http://www.superpro....art?id=SPF3298K please - mine are screwed and I was about to order replacements out of the USA. Are we doing a local 'group buy' on pressing them in - I have been considering buying a cheap 10 ton press since I have been quoted $70 per SIDE to have them pressed in :(

Put you down Andrew.

I may be able to sort something out with the press - I'll check and let you know.

$70 PER SIDE? Can you PM me who that was? That's ridiculous!

I thought so too .... but the guy explained that the alloy in the lower controls arms is very soft and apparently it is a fair pain in the ass to do with a reasonable chance of lunching the arms and having to replace them .... nah I am not going to name names ...

Did mine with superpro a couple of weeks ago. Bought a cheap 6 tonne workshop press from supercheap ($99) and found that their calibre brand 30mm socket ($4.95) is the perfect size press tool to press out old and press in new. Didnt have any trouble with soft alloy at all.

I've had an offer from SuperPro to ship to everyone direct. Cost is $16 for a 3kg overnight airbag.

Since everyone so far is in Adelaide I don't think it's worth it, but if you'd prefer yours shipped direct let me know.

No worries Brad. Kind of funny everyone so far is in Adelaide...

Good news!

We have changed the supplier for this group buy, which makes everything a bit cheaper and easier for all of us.

The new supplier is JDM Obsession, an SAU Trader.

Prices have been dropped to the following:

SPF2849K - $139.00

SPF3297K - $148.00

SPF3298K - $79.00

Freight is $12 shipped direct to you, otherwise if you're in Adelaide you can collect from me and save yourself the freight cost.

This works out a bit cheaper, and every bit counts!

If anyone has any problems at all, please PM me. This won't effect dates and delivery times for the group buy at all.

Ring back the first supplier and see if he will beat the new price. Could have a price war. Both companies are trying to get the business. When do you want coin?

Don't worry, I spoke to the first supplier about it! That's the best I can do at this point.

I was going to wait until all the orders are in before I start getting coin, but I'll start contacting people shortly.

Where in Adelaide are you Ryan? If you are not North I might just go the $12 shipped option, which would be easier than running around to pick them up.

I'm going to borrow my brothers spare press if anyone wants to join me in swapping them over. In Adelaide that is. Seeming that most of us are out north we could get a production line going.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
