Solid Lifters And Springs On My R33 25 Head

HI im new

i have a rb2530 with r33 s1 de head on it and i have blocked off vct oil supply and using rb20 cams at the moment and its time to upgrade.

im looking at buying tomei cams

but i cannot use poncams because i no longer have vct so i will need to go procams (260 Duration 9.15mm Lift) because they do not have vct

but i will need to convert to solid lifters and better springs BUT tomei charge a bucket load for springs and solid lifters so i was just wondering if i can use some other lifter like 26 lifters or something

or can i use rb20 pon/procams that has 256/260 Duration 8.5mm Lift and only requires hydrolic lifters

i would either run rb20 cams, they suit hydraulic without vct.

or refit vct, you should be able to put a fitting behind the inlet cam gear, and remote feed it.

ended up buying tomei RB20 260 8.5mm lift pro cams for hydrolic type and generic brand proformance springs. sor hope all goes well.

Get the best of both worlds get a RB25 neo head sold lifters and got VCT
