...i think they took it as being trust everything..

If you offered ME a turbo "kit" and described it to me by saying it was a Trust turbo "kit", i would damn well expect a Trust manifold. Not a manifold that just suits it.

It's a bit cheeky to try and pass it off as anything other than that. Sorry mate, but that's what people assume when you say it.....and rightly so.

Another example; If I call BD4's and ask for an HKS 3037 "Kit" for my skyline, i expect the following:

1/ HKS 3037 Turbocharger

2/ HKS Exhaust Manifold

3/ HKS External Wastegate

Now if it is an internally gated turbo i wouldn't expect the gate... If it is a 2nd hand kit, i wouldn't expect gaskets... But the manifold? Damn straight.

In regards to the physical threats? Absolute crap and should be referred to the police.

On another note, I wouldn't use this forum as a place to shop for support or get business advice. May I suggest: http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/ At least post in the wasteland - or get an ABN - or if you already have one, how about posting in the business section and donating to the forum for the items you offer for sale :D

Adrian

give them the money back n just sell it to someone else, its an MR2 part, there's lotsa kiddies running around wanting to make their MR2's into ferraris

u told them they had a 1 week warranty

u told them they had to pick it up immediately

they didnt

so they denied their chance for warranty

they didnt ask exactly what was in the kit (most ppl would)

therefore i dont c it as ur fault as ur only another middle man

give them the jap phone number and walk away

also do notify the police of the threats etc - they can check phone records etc

If I had ordered that kit & the manifold wasn't TRUST - chances are I'd be happy. I was chatting with John @ UAS not long ago & he advised me to steer well clear of trust manifolds as they are poorly manufactured compared to other JDM makes. Just an opinion, and not mine but do you think this guy has seen a few in his time ? Perhaps Garage Reckless agree, hence they provide their own 'bitsa' which is better... stranger things have happened. "Manifold expert mediation" is what I would be seeking before the Fairy Princess kicks magic dust in your eyes.

My 2c Bro.

i reckon he's just using every excuse in the book to not have to pay for em now that they've arrived coz he's changed his mind about modifying his car. Either that or get em at a far cheaper rate.

thank you all for your input...i hope the person is satisfied, and reads this thread I have made them aware of it..and asked for them to put there side of the story in...

as for 2Rismo, you are as dinky dye as they come. If you went to Liverpool exhaust and asked for a turbo kit, as i did before i bought my Rb26 kit for my car. They tried to sell me a Garrett 3540 kit!!! Which included there own manifold (liverpool exhaust make), A Tial 40mm Wastegate and a Garrett GCG GT3540.

if u goto to Bd4's you know they are going to sell HKS as that is what they distribute. NOTHING ELSE!... fair go brudda.

now, as you know I had the HKS T51 at the time, and on another occassion brought the turbo in, to ask to have a manifold and gate to suit made up which, they were going to do for $XYZ..if i would have opted for that, further down the track when i wanted to sell could I sell it as a kit? HKS T51R kit? or on the turn side Trust Td06-20g Kit?

thats where it gets messy!!!!...with the trust kit, it had trust adapter plates welded to the manifold and I beleive larger ports (i am told) for the increased air flow. So I was told...

so could it be trust? just like the Carillo/Grex connecting rods?

i reckon he's just using every excuse in the book to not have to pay for em now that they've arrived coz he's changed his mind about modifying his car. Either that or get em at a far cheaper rate.

either that or he swapped the turbo with a ****ed one

MR2 owners r dodgy

Hi Tosh :D

this little kid is senseless and is forgeting to tell the whole truth.....the original deal was

1 s/s manifold

2 wastegate

3 turbo

after a FULL deposit of $3000 into his bank account....he told the customer it was internally gated.....the customer thought about it and decided yeah ok.....NOT IT IS INTERNALLY GATED AND ADAPTED TO A STANDARD MANIFOLD!!! i gaurantee the customer would have refuse the deal... i belive this important piece of information was withheld!!!!!!!!!!!

as for my situation... i bought a boost control off him with a broken solenoid.... he claimed innocence so i gave him the benefit of the doubt...however word got back to me that he swapped his working one for this one with an adjustment then ripped me off!!!!!!!!

originally i thought that this is the risk u take with purchasing second hand ... but over time alll ive heard is complaint after complaint from this shifty little prick.... cause if u have a look at his previous posts...his tried to offload a hks to4 ballbearing turbo.... ive just recently heard its a garret plain bearing.... does anybody feel a trend happening here?????

If u have ever dealt with judd...trust me 1 week= 2 months so if there was one week warranty on this turbo it would have been voided by the time it reached australia...

this kid needs to be stopped...... as ppl do work hard for there dollar not to get ripped by this little obnoxious arrogant prick!!!

he deserves everything that comes his way its called KARMA!!!

Excuse me???? I have bank deposit lists TOTAL AMOUNT was put in my account for $2400.

Original price was $3100 as I thought it was ext. wastgate type. IT WAS ALWAYS CAST IRON MANIFOLD as I have emails to prove this. Once I found out it was Internally gated I offered to take $700 off the PRICE!!!! and at this stage I HADNT RECEIVED EVEN 1cent...

As I also told them if they didnt want it I would have minded as I didnt buy the turbo myself even YET!!!!

As for the boost controller IT WAS NOT YOU! It was Tony, and it is CURRENTY WORKING IN A WRX..its a HKS EVC PRO..just because you couldnt get it installed correctly. I gave tony a Profec B Spec II BRAND NEW + $150. as he paid $700 for the EVC in the first place I never once hesitated to give him his money back. I even installed the PROFEC B SPEC II for him..

As for the T04R i never said it is ball bearing!!!! as HKS TO4R is NOT BALLBEARING AND anyone who knew a little bit about cars would know. In fact the only TO4 on the market is the HKS TO4Z but you pay ALOT OF $$$$ extra for that.

Your the kid...dont make your silly excuses up for you and your friends I dont want to deal with any of you lot again, you all a vicious circle and nothing but whingers....pay retail here, last time i save you any money!

Your Middle-man has feed you too much bullshit!!! all lies and decept!

Also the TURBO was here within 10days!!! and warrenty was given 1week once arrival in australia AFTER it was cleared out of customs and this is all documented.

If you have ever delt with me you know what to expect!...as for you and all your mates. There are too many shift people, and 99% of them seem to be related to you and your friends.I think people would see a common trend here. You guys would do anything to get something for nothing..half the time being illegal... WHO ARE YOU ANYWAY? you have never delt with me! but i know where your cases are coming from

I totally agree with you GETSET when I get my R33 it'll be through a loan from the bank so thus I don't wanna buy something that will break down and cost me more. But A whole car is dif from one item i.e. turbo, but the basic line is there don't try and flog doggy shit off to ppl cause you don't know when it's going to come back and bite you in the ass.

But mainly DON'T SELL DOGGY SHIT ON HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause we're nearly 10 000 strong and growing so don't F**K with us!!!!!!!

As for the EVC problem, being Tony S15 (XTERC)...why has he continued to buy stuff from me? Im sure he isnt as angry as you claim to be??? I have receipt etc also...So before you start acting like somebody else I suggest you post who you are, and who you are friends with and quote with some facts...not the stuff your mates feed you.

    • The car/ECU will have all the sensor that it needs and expect to have. I think i do not have to explain to you how the Link is way better specialy if you have swapped engine   I just do not want to deal with any "problems" cuz i have only Nistune which i learned is not that great and in my case cant even deal with that speed problem (Link can) And of course it will be way more easier to tune and diagnose and safe. And for the ECU/speed problem...i dont know.
    • Per Mark Roberts of Sonictune: Mark Robert Author At this time, no. No ETA either 2016-17 models. You will be able to purchase and install a 2018.5+ TCU though   TCU purchasing and pricing info! As we near the release of TCU tuning, I am going to answer some questions I get asked often.   What do I need for TCU tuning? At this time, you will need a 2018.5+ TCU to be able to tune. If you have a 2016-to early 2018, you will need to replace your TCU with the newer version. One good way to know if your TCU is good is if you have auto upshift in manual mode in 1st gear around 6500 rpms. If your manual 1st gear goes to 7k rpm and will hit the rev limiter unless you shift, you have the older TCU.   Why do I need to buy another ecu license/phone flash if I already have it on my ECU tune? The TCU is its own computer module. It is completely separate from the ECU. Because of this, you will be required to purchase a TCU license and, if your tuner has it, the phone flash license required to tune it via phone/bluetooth.   Do I need TCU tuning? TCU tuning is NOT required. However, the faster your setup, the more it will assist in track and dragy time consistency.   If I’m ECU tuned by (tuner A) can I get my TCU tuned by (Tuner ? Yes, since it’s a different module and a completely separate flash, you can have two different tuners. However, it is highly recommend that you have both tuned by the same tuner. For me, my TCU tuning will directly complement my ECU tuning style and features and running my ECU and another TCU or vice versa MIGHT cause some issues. At this time and for the foreseeable future, I will only be tuning my current ECU tuned customers TCUs.     I have a SYVECS AWD controller. Do I still need it? Yes! The AWD controllers main job is to control your AWD system. However, with TCU tuning, you will no longer need the auto-shift function as that will be done through the TCU. The AWD controller will still be very beneficial for racers looking to maximize traction on the launch.     Shift schedule changes: holding gears longer at lower pedal input as well as max shift rpm changes. Please note, the new ECU race rom coming out will address 90% of the shitty drivability issues these cars have through custom maps from myself and Racebox—as well as others I am sure.   Increase shift speeds: as seen in the videos I’ve been posting, the TCU shifts much faster once tuned.   Increased shift pressures: as also seen in the videos, much firmer full throttle shifts.

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
