maximajim
I've rebuilt my rb25 bottom end with fresh bearings and forged pistons. Head is standard. I'm not sure how to break it in. What type of oil do I use? Any advice is appreciated. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/39327-new-bottom-end-break-in-how/ Share on other sites

SeriesIIGTST
Although not exactly entitled what you're looking for, quite a few people have expressed how they ran in their new motors in this thread:- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=39070 Cheers! Turbo Tits
Here's an article from Zoom titled, "Preventative Measures", regarding breaking-in rebuilt motors. Its an ok read, although not that technical. Hope it helps. I think the first 2 pages will need expanding in your browser for you to read them... i dunno, open 'em in photoshop if all else fails.
